Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company. This 8% imperial IPA was brewed with fresh lime zest and juice as well as Simcoe and Amarillo hops. A great beer for all things summer.

22oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. . Aroma of lime and other citrus with a little pine resin. Taste is medium bitter. Very citrusy with loads of lime and bitter pine resin in the background. A little bready also. Full bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, this is awesome. Im pretty sure i could drink this everyday.

22oz bottle, thanks to DanielCoor and his dad for sharing! Amazing lime juice and zest to this, makes it a very refreshing summer time DIPA! Refreshing in the way that Lemon Lime gatorade used to be when I played high school football, but way less sweet... Very nice moderate bitterness to balance out the lightly sweet zest. Good biscuity malt balance to it, as well... In the aroma there’s a scent that’s like freshed-baked lemon bar cookies some friends made a couple weeks ago, only with lime zest... Medium-plus body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation, lightly dry in the finish. Mostly clear golden color, thin white head, leaves good dots of lace. This was a real treat. Exactly the kind of zesty, drinkable, refreshing, but potent DIPA I’m looking for, especially in the summer. Cans of this... Can you imagine cans of this?!

Batch #197. Pours a hazy golden color with a two finger head that dissipates slowly and leaves. Good amount of carbonation coming off the glass. Smells of tons of pine, some lime, grapefruit, floral, some graininess, graham cracker from the malt. Tastes pretty much like it smells. Starts with some grapefruit, resinous pine, and a hint of lime. A slight graininess, along with graham cracker come through in the middle and balance the hops nicely, although the hops and the increasing lime flavor are still dominant. Finish brings more pine, grapefruit, and graham cracker, along with floral notes and much more lime flavor. As it warms, the lime flavor becomes much more pronounced and the finish becomes more dry. No alcohol detected at all. Very clean finish both in the flavor and in the mouthfeel. Creamy and sticky, yet clean mouthfeel with a medium body. The hefty carbonation adds to the clean finish and moves the beer along. Due to it’s uniqueness and great finish, this version is right up there with the other great ninjas.

A: Pale golden color with a nice head that lingers a bit. S: Some interesting lemon/lime peel notes with some slight pineapple and plastic. T: Upfront a light tart lemon/lime juice that has light minty taste and mouth feel. . Sorachi Ace and lime definitely apparent but are in a nice balance. Could drink this a lot during the summer months. M: Crisp and delightful with a minty mouth feel and feeling on the lips. O: Really enjoy this beer and hope to see them brew this again this summer and enjoy it outside by the pool or something.

From bottle. This was recommended by my local beer/liquor store WLV. Looks like a standard heavy pale ale with slightly darker golden color with nice frothy white head. The smell is amazing with that Lime Zest and juice really amplifying the citrus notes from the hops. It's funny because I hate lagers with line but I occasionally put a lime in an IPA during the summer for this very reason. This goes perfect with Mexican, Thai, or any other spicy foods that use lime. Not a purists beer but a pure joy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very hazy golden with barely a cap of white head. A lot of lacing. Aroma is citrusy, spice and everything nice. A lot of grapefruit and lime. Some maltiness. The mouth is INTENSELY bitter. A lot of citrus here. The strong lime note is present again with an awesome spice balance. Leaves a slight burning feeling in the cheeks. Surprised this one is rated so low. I enjoyed it.
