22 oz. bottle served in a Pipeworks snifter. The batch # spot is blank on the bottle. A: Pours a hazy yellowish color with a quick dissolving white head forming on the pour. As it subsides it leaves some soapy lace. S: Some lemony flavors with a little Belgian yeast. Slightly spicy with some grainy and bready malts. A touch of sweetness as well. T: Lemon candy with some citrus zest. Slightly sweet bready malts with some Belgian yeast. A little phenolic with some light spice as well. A clean finish. M: Nice drinkability. Light bodied with some medium carbonation levels. Goes down quick, easy and clean. O: A nice sessionable Belgian-style pale ale. Nothing jumps out as being crazy to draw you in, just pretty standard overall with some nice citrus zest. Serving type: bottle

Hazy gold with a huge, lasting head. The aroma is very phenolic, with very mild citrus and light esters. The flavor is similar, with more the the dirty side of Belgian yeast standing out. Highly carbonated, with a very dry finish.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a very pale light yellow with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, dry strong citrus and mild hay. Some light floral and citrus hops. Flavor is dry, with touches of fruity yeast and citrus. I get some juicyfruit gum, mild floral and herbal notes. Light body with zesty carbonation. Finishes light and dry, lots of citrus. Nice.

Sample from bottle at the FoBAB Documentary party, poured by Drew Fox. I so wanted to stick with sessionable beers like this for the evening, but there were so many barleywines and impy stouts that followed. Pale lager color with a thin head. Sits really nicely on the tongue. Dry enough that I actually look for a little sweetness. Profile seems close to a Golden Ale style, but then the "single" is probably intended to be that way. A very pleasant way to start an evening.

Citrus and lemongrass with loads of spicy yeast. Light bodied with a thin and slick texture. Super fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, pretty good. . Batch 84.

Hazy light yellow with a ridiculous amount of white bubbly head. Smells of orange zest, clove. A spicy highly carbonated initial taste with just a light sweet in the middle with some medicinal like tastes, little bitter. Tastes are subtle and not very impressive but its an ok session. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle and served in PW snifter: Pours a clean straw hue with a small but mostly lasting head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of pils and biscuity malts, orange and kaffir lime zest, some grassy and herbal hops with a touch of banana esters from the yeast. The taste is surprisingly more bitter than I expected. Nice smooth pale malt background with just a hint of the citrus zest. The mouth feel is light and vibrant has expected from this genre of beer. The metallic like finish does distract. I would have liked to see just a tad more citric and yeast character but overall I like what they tried to do here.

Bomber. Pours a hazy pale straw color. Little in the way of head, and what there was dissipated quickly. Nose is Belgian yeastiness. Mouth is thin, with a front load of yeasty spice, then some bitterness (like lemon peels with the pith still attached), then basically a slightly more assertive Pilsner. Not bad, but I expect a bit more from P-Dubs and especially in a colab... this is, after all, partly one of 18th Street’s inaugural offerings. Swing for the fences for God’s sake!
