COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Abduction in the dead of night, an eerie silence consumes the blackened sky. In an instant, BOOM, a single beam engulfs you. Panic stricken, you flee in no particular direction. It’s of little use, as you’re lifed effortlessly from the safety and comfort of the earth intoa darkness unknown. Resistance is futile. They have you now. Abduction has you now.

Botella hjá Cecil Kongur á hansara Vársmakking. Pitchblack, light brown head. Sweet roasty malty hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel Well roasted malty flavour with dark fruit and chocolate, bitter hops in the finish, licorice too. Lovely.

Dark brown pour, brown head. Quite roasty, a hint of a metallic flavor, but I still get a lot of nice chocolate notes, licorice, light smoke notes.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pitch-black pour with a small, creamy, taupe head. Good retention. The aroma is highlighted by a plush marriage of gooey fudge and a double chocolate brownie. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and kicked-back carbonation. The flavor presents semi-sweet dark chocolate and espresso with a mild, savory nuance of molasses. Roasty, bittersweet, mocha finish. BBB63 comes through with the world class goods!

651mL red wax thanks to a trade. Rating #6100! Pours clear deep brown looking opaque black in the glass. Thick, rocky, sheen coffee foam. Big retention and big lace. Rich cinnamon graham cracker nose with dusty Mexican chocolate, coffee, star anise, licorice. Taste though is just a tad dusty for me but it is certainly dry, bitter, cocoa powder. But the palate doesn’t come across as rich and silky as it could be. Certainly doing very well aesthetic wise, but lacking a rich silkiness that would solidify it was a boss RIS. 7/30/2013 9/5/7/4/16=4.1

Sample from batch #100 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. Black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a cocoa and malt aftertaste. Solid Stout overall.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2012 Dark black pour with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates. It smells nice but a bit weak. It is cocoa-y with some coffee. Dark fruits round it out. The first sip brings to mind grape cough syrup which is weird. The flavor continues to be fruity and boozy. It has some espresso too but mostly a sugary fruitiness. I don’t know if I am a huge fan of it. Had another bottle of the same batch (same store even) and liked it alot more. Not sure if my palate was fucked up or not.
