COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Abduction in the dead of night, an eerie silence consumes the blackened sky. In an instant, BOOM, a single beam engulfs you. Panic stricken, you flee in no particular direction. Itís of little use, as youíre lifed effortlessly from the safety and comfort of the earth intoa darkness unknown. Resistance is futile. They have you now. Abduction has you now.

Bottle shared by khoffman43! Dark black pour, nice ring of thick dark carbonation and an aroma of chocolate roast and coffee. Flavor is really nice chocolate malt, strong bitter hops and hints of clove and nuts. Really nice, becoming a big fan of these guys after having a few of their beers.

Scopey (6667) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2014
Bottle thanks to Kenny at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours deep brown/near black with small tan head. The nose is rich chocolate, roasty, rocky road, vanilla and light coffee. The taste is bitter, roasty, big acidity, coffee, alcohol, rocky road and filthy chocolate cake with a rich finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Rich and decadent. Not the classiest beverage, but rather nice anyhow.

Pours black as night with a big creamy cocoa colored head. Aroma brings rich chocolate malts and subtle sweetened coffee undertones. Body is so creamy bringing roasted chocolate malts flavors that are smooth on the palate.

Looking very much the part of an imperial stout, Abduction is supremely dark brown in color with a medium brown head. You can practically see the roasted, stained liquid malt runoff. Itís an oil slick. The head is almost orange - itís beautiful. The nose is sweet and malty and thereís a thick sweetness in the aroma that reminds me of a caramelized... caramel, with only a touch of dark chocolate/cocoa butter. Itís really great, heavily roasted and super sweet. Thereís something thin, but condensed, about this. Some possible coffee character appears occasionally in the flavor, with some caramel and chocolate, much like a tootsie roll. Yes, very much like a tootsie roll. That about sums up this delicious, and very unique, imperial stout.

Pours black. Thick tan head. Sweet aroma. First sips are sweet with strong licorice flavor. Smooths out a bit. Solid beer.
