22oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a foamy brown head. Aroma is of toasted malt, vanilla, spice, and coffee. Lingering bitter coffee taste. Mouthfeel is sticky, but not overly thick. As it warms, a cola taste starts to come through. Enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Deep dark-brown pour with no head. The nose is of espresso-laced brownies soaked in weak chai tea. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is a marriage of faint chai tea and milk chocolate. Remarkably well-balanced, although it does lean sweet – as it should - but not in a cloying way. More chai in the aroma and flavor would make this a world class beer. Bottle courtesy of ctipping and BBB63!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some spices and tea, light dough, hints of vanilla, and some caramel sweetness. Flavor the same. Average to smoother texture. A pretty good beer but a little weird.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice thick milk stout body ones perfectly with chai. Thin tan head recedes quickly not much lacing. Bouquet is excellent chai prevalent with cardamom anise and cinnamon. Taste reflects the aroma black peppercorn comes in with a nice kick at the end. Overall different and solid brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
on tap at Stoutfest ’14. pours black with small tan head. Aroma is loaded with chai tea, lots of spices up front but they were pleasing and exactly what I was expecting. flavor was similar, i felt that the spices and lactose worked well together, didn’t get much roast, wasn’t overly sweet. tasted like chai tea to me. thin body. should be listed as a spice beer but oh well.

Bomber, via Archer Liquors Chicago, pours a dark black color with no head. Nose is full of spices, including green tea and cardamom. Taste is spicy and peppery with a predominance of Indian laced spices. Finish is spicy as well, with a moderately long finish. An interesting unique stout. Quaff Score 7 / 10

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber at Sammy’s from Liam. Dark brown with a mocha head. Chocolate, vanilla, very sweet, reminds me of the Chocolate Chilli Chai tea my wife has from David’s tea...and I do not enjoy that tea at all. Moderate body and carbonation with a sweet finish.
