Bottle shared at LeviLOL tasting - thanks! Light black pour with just a little tan head. Nose is malty with just a hint of cherry. A bit more cherry in the taste, still pretty thin.

Bottle - thanks Brandon! Super dark pour with a small head. Smooth medium density stout with a hint of cherry. It’s beauty is in its subtlety.

tectactoe (1167) - Michigan, USA - MAR 17, 2014
Bottle: Very dark pour, black center with a slight hint of brown at the edges; nice, foamy, light-mocha head on tap, long-lasting & chunky leaving good lacing behind. Aroma has notes of musty cherry jam & cherry marmalade with a chocolate candy bar underbody & hints of brown sugar rounding things out. Taste is a mixture of semi-sweet cherry jam & milky, melted chocolate. Some light roasted malt notes on the edges with hints of brown sugar, nuts, & dry cocoa dust. The cherry stays sweet & never gets medicinal, which is good. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, though it may be my personal least favorite of the Abduction series (so far).

Pailhead (4413) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - MAR 15, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Courtesy of tectactoe

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate chocolate, caramel, molasses, and faint cherry. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and a small beige head that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with moderate chocolate, light-moderate molasses, and a hint of caramel. The finish has roasted coffee, faint tart cherries and the slightest hint of nuts. It’s medium-full bodied with mild carbonation.

Mora2000 (5346) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma has some nice roasted malt, chocolate and cherry notes. The flavor also features a lot of cherries. There is also some heavy chocolate notes that, as expected, go great with the cherries. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours black. Aroma still chocolate, maybe some mild cherries. Taste is chocolate, cherries as it warms, still like the raspberry better.

Bottle thanks to Beechner. Slight cherry nose. Otherwise not much. Taste is still slightly tart. Pretty good but cheery is very light.

Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Batch 204. More booze in this than the others, light roast, not much cherry. Roasty, light cherry, not much else.

madvike (2581) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle - Pours cola-colored with no head. Nose is fruity, with dark malt--not real pungent. Taste has medicinal cherry, chocolate, dark malt. It’s not that great--pretty ashy with a touch of cinnamon. Medium body and well-carbonated. A disappointment.
