3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Very dark pour, black center with a slight hint of brown at the edges; nice, foamy, light-mocha head on tap, long-lasting & chunky leaving good lacing behind. Aroma has notes of musty cherry jam & cherry marmalade with a chocolate candy bar underbody & hints of brown sugar rounding things out. Taste is a mixture of semi-sweet cherry jam & milky, melted chocolate. Some light roasted malt notes on the edges with hints of brown sugar, nuts, & dry cocoa dust. The cherry stays sweet & never gets medicinal, which is good. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, though it may be my personal least favorite of the Abduction series (so far).

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Definitely Choco-cherry to the extreme. Not quite as heavy as one might expect. Mildly charred and dry and bitter. Fun beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at HMOG. Definite cherry and chocolate flavors. Just like it is named. Nice stout body behind the beer to carry the flavors. A little gimmicky but this is a fun try.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Pours black with a small, creamy, beige head. The nose features charcoal, ash, tobacco and a mildly fruity component. Full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is ashen, lightly acidic and mildly carbonic, accompanied by sweet and tart cherries, and a nice note of dark chocolate. Lengthy, tangy-sweet finish with hints of cherry and cardboard. Very nice overall. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous BBB63!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cough syrup and cherry syrup with light roasted notes is mildly enjoyable. Taste is a mix of cough syrup with cherry flavored syrup, quite a bit of residual sugar notes with some lactose. Body is full with creamy texture and good carbonation. Not a big fan of the cherry flavour in this beer.
