Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Batch 204. More booze in this than the others, light roast, not much cherry. Roasty, light cherry, not much else.

Dark brown, bit of tan foam. Nose is light cherry, vanilla, maybe some coffee. Taste is cherry vanilla with a hint of cacao on the back end. Thin body loses points but not bad in the taste department. Pretty spot on.

Poured from bottle to glass. Dark hue with creamy tan head that settled to a ring. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, cherry, roast, coffee. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness followed by a slight astringent bitterness and a ethanol finish. Overall this is a n interesting brew.

Black pour from 22oz bottle at home. Brown head. Aroma of cocoa and vanilla. Taste is great - cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, with only a slight cherry kick. Creamy smooth and goes down like it has about half the ABV. Dangerous. Delicious beer

Pours dark with a strong carbonation that dissipates to form foamy bubbles that retreat from the center of my glass. The aroma is rich of cherries, with some chocolate, soft vanilla, and has a pleasant scent of sweet roasted malts. While tasting I noticed a defined cherry tart flavor with bitter cocoa and dark chocolate malts. I noticed a sweet cherry candy syrup like additive to boost the cherry character. The finish is rather interesting. It starts off semi sweet and develops to a malty tart cherry flavor that finishes boozy and bitter. The boozy bitterness lingers but it was not harsh on the tongue. Overall I liked this beverage but I did not enjoy the blend of flavors with the cherry potency.

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours black with a creamy brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of creamy chocolate, sweet cherry and a bit of roasted malts. Flavor has sweet chocolate with dark grains and notes of cherry and roasted malts in the finish.

750ml shared by Ben at a tasting. Thinner than I would’ve expected from for 11%. Cherry, chocolate. Thin on the palate somehow. Grew on me a but. Probably not the best beer to have just a small taste of. Not really nailing it, but good.

Bomber. Missed out on these the first time around. Pours a big stouty brown black with a slight purple tinge, opaque with a medium mocha colored head, okay retention and lacing. Nose is cocoa, cherries, dark roasted coffee and barley, wheat puffs. Mouth is medium full, not as sticky as some of the others from the Abduction series that I’ve had. Bittersweet, with the cherries (which are very berry-like) up front, then cocoa, coffee beans, some sootiness followed by lingering mid-range bitterness, and then kinda goes all muddy. ABV is somewhat evident in finsh. Overall, this is probably the least complex of the series and I’d be curious to see what barrel-aging it would do... but maybe rum barrels... something different ya know?

Bottle - thanks Tooch! Pours opaque black with a small tan head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving good lacing. Aroma is chocolate, dark roasted malts, coffee. Flavor has cherry as well, chocolate, dark roasted malts, light tart, light plus sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. Decent.

Pour from Bottle. Pours a medium black with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, some chocolate, no cherries. Taste is cherry filled, pretty solid.
