Bottle from Bill, real fresh. Pours golden orange with medium head. Lots of buttery citra, pineapple, mango, and sugar in the nose and flavor. Not a bad ipa but too sweet for my taste.

Bomber, thanks Brett! Batch 176, bottled 7/29/13, about 3 weeks ago. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a thick foamy head that fades slowly and leaves nice lacing. Very nice head retention. Very nice musty tropical fruit aroma with some mango, melon, and light pine too. Taste is moderately sweet with a balanced moderate bitterness. Juicy pineapple, oranges, mangoes, flowers, pine, grapefruit, and very light caramel malt. Medium to thick body, very oily mouthfeel with a very soft and slightly foamy carbonation. This stuff is delicious. It is was just a tad less sweet and not so foamy, this would get top marks.

Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors and enjoyed while watching the Red Sox play. A tropical fruity aroma here of mango, peach, and grapefruit. A bit dank overall, with a strong dough character. Some light pine resin enters the mix but is rather mild. In the glass it looks copper with thin off-white head settling on top, that leaves spotty lacing. Slick body with soft and sweet doughy malt colliding with juicy citrus hops of mango, pineapple, and peach. A bit leafy, bitter, and dry in the finish. Not aggressive bitterness, though, with sweetness that holds itís own. Incredibly drinkable; itís 9.5% but definitely doesnít seem it. This isnít as good as their Ninja vs Unicorn but itís no doubt another high quality IPA from Pipeworks.

Amber gold, slight haziness, thin off-white head. Sweet and sticky aroma of ripe mango, pineapple, orange, and guava; citrus and floral notes. A bit sweet initially, but followed by strong bitterness and balanced with lively carbonation. A bit of booziness apparent, and a lingering bitter finish.

Pours a hazy orange with a half finger of creamy, white head that sticks the whole way through, leaving mild lacing. Mango dominates the nose, I couldnít smell past it. The mouth is like juice, very similar to the beer formerly known as Alchemy Hour. A lot of hop flavors, not actually bitter. Very easy drinking for 9.5%. I loved it.

Bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy, very dark orange with almost no head. Aroma of citrus and loads of tropical fruit. Taste is light bitter. Citrus and pineapple and tropical fruits. Wow this is good. Full bodied with a thick and sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, awesome. I could absolutely drink this everyday.

Pours a dark copper with a finger of off white head that dissipates quickly to a cap. Decent amount of slippery lacing. Nose is all citrus. Typical citrus notes: A lot of mango, pineapple and grapefruit followed up by a lot of floral hops. Mouth is awesome. A lot of citrus and floral hops. A perfect amount of bitterness mixed with the citrus notes. The mango and grapefruit stand out. Not overly bitter, but the perfect amount. This was an awesome beer.

Thanks to St.Fun for this bomber as part of a trade. Poured cold from the bomber into a pint glass. Hazy orange with a medium head. Floral aroma, but not as strong as Iíd like (but perhaps I had it too cold...). Initially, it had some citrus, but a pronounced hop bitterness at the finish. I would have rated it at about a 15 or 16 if I stopped there. But as it sat for longer (I drank it myself over an hour) the bitterness smoothed out and complexity of the citra hops came out in all of their glory. Grapefruit, mango, pineapple, it had it all. Next time, Iíll take it out of the fridge 15 minutes before I pour it.

22oz Bottle. Pour is opaque with an orange heavy hue. Fairly thin white head. Nose is a floral citrus bomb with sweet malt as a backstop. Taste follows with a juicy citrus sweet malt explosion. Absolutely top notch and easily one of the best DIPAs out there if you are a Citra hops fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
