22oz bottle. Pours a viscous black with a thin tan head, aroma of roasted coffee. Taste is sweet coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Quite tasty and well done.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty coffee aroma. Roasted malty dry coffee flavor with bitter chocolate hints. Has a roasted malty coffee finish.

17-MAY-2013, bottle @Ølbutikken with Ulkløbben. Dark, dark brown with low tan head. Hard roasted aroma with dry coffee, vanilla and molasses. Taste the same. Dry coffee, and more coffee. Nice full body and average carbonation.

Pours a thin dark brown with minimal lacing. Heavy coffee nose with so e chocolate

Bottle @ Beer Temple shared by Benzai, thanks! Pours pitch black with a medium tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and some earthy hops. Taste is slightly sweet, roasted malts and a good bitterness. Medium to full body with a medium carbonation.

Bottle shared at Beer Temple. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, oats, roasted malt, caramel, coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle @ Beer Temple. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, coffee, bitter and some hops. Lovely bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Sampled at esbls. Very dark red brown. Almost no head. A nose of coffee and a bit of ash. First sip is kind of freezer burn. Malta are huge but the coffee has faded some. It is surprisingly bitter. Background fruit.

Bottle shared at the Tampa Tasting, poured a dark black color with aromas of fresh pressed coffee, light roast, some light hops and some earth. Flavors are the same, mostly black coffee, light bitterness and roast in the aftertaste. Pretty amazed at this beer for such a high abv, didn’t taste like it, a great beer.

Sample from a bottle at DLD 2013. Black body. Minimal khaki head. Couple dots of lace. Smooth, chewier texture. Nice big coffee aroma. Moderate roast. Good big bitterness. Super stuff.
