22 ounce bottle shared thanks to my buddy Josh. Pours a thicker black with a khaki colored head of foam. The aroma is rich coffee roast and earth. The taste is coffee roast and bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.

Dark brown color with thin head. Smells like a ton of cold coffee with slight notes of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet, unbalanced mouth that is over ridden with coffee. Lingering coffee roasted finish. I wanted to like this, but very simplistic brew that went no where

Le nez et l’arrière-goût est ce qui se rapproche le plus de la founders breakfast stout. Les notes de chocolat noir et de café au lait affluent sans retenu dans un corps onctueux et riche. Une concoction réussie.

dark brown. lots of coffee and vanilla. Taste is okay but very peppery, like duct tape and very bad coffee. seriously, having all 4 abductions side by side, what in the heck, guys? Why are these so bad?

Bomber bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours brownish black with a rather small frothy and fizzy mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with roasted malts, lots of sweetened dark roast coffee, vanilla beans, dark chocolate, charred wood, burnt cookies, hay and hints of green chili and alcohol. Taste is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, sweet liquorice candy, burnt cookies, alcohol, charred wood, vanilla essence, soy sauce and hints of green chili. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly oily, round, roasted astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, charred wood, burnt cookies and hints of green chili and soy sauce. Good but a bit unbalanced...

Bottle. Not much coffee in the nose compared to the regular abduction. Flavor is similar and very much like the regular but without the harshness and tartness. I actually prefer this to the regular hut there is not much coffee. Overall a solid stout but would buy guess they added coffee to it if you didn’t tell me. Batch 112

17-MAY-2013, bottle @Ølbutikken with Ulkløbben. Dark, dark brown with low tan head. Hard roasted aroma with dry coffee, vanilla and molasses. Taste the same. Dry coffee, and more coffee. Nice full body and average carbonation.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark blackish color with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, espresso, some milk and dark chocolate. Flavor of coffee, cream, sweet chocolate notes. Some roast and dark chocolate. This is certainly nice. It’s medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, lightish carbonation. Pretty nice beer.

Aroma of roasted malt, wood, whiskey, vanilla, dark chocolate. Strong alcoholic whiskey taste with roasted malt and chocolate, fruity finish, with a robust roast and wood aftertaste. Beats the Danish Red Wine edition.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a medium sized brown head with fair lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and caramel notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with some alcohol. Full bodied, oily texture and flat to soft carb. A great impy.
