Bottle thanks to FullObs. Batch 248/250/252, about 4 months old. Pours very dark brown with a small head that quickly fades to a thin ring. Aroma is nice fresh light roasted coffee, some light sweet lactose, vanilla, cocoa, and caramel. Coffee is the dominant taste and there’s a great sweet/bitter balance. Chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and light burnt wood make it through well too. Solid coffee stout that hides the high abv very well.

65cl bottle @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Coffee, some liquor aromas. Pours black, with average tan head, creamy and persistent, some lacing. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Taste is roasty, coffee, some sweet, liquorice, vanilla. Balanced, smooth, sweet and enjoyable.

Tasted on 6/23/14 from a capped 22oz bomber bottle sent to me in a trade. Pours a very thick, nearly black, dark brown with a thick, smooth brown head that slowly recedes to a thick collar of lace. The nose is almost exactly like a mocha with a touch of vanilla, plenty of dark chocolate, deep, dark espresso, and plenty of roast with a hint of vanilla. The flavor is the same sweet-ish vanilla tinged mocha with tons of milky dark chocolate and bitter, deep espresso. The body is super full, one of the creamiest beers I have ever had, with average, but smooth carbonation, and a very long touch of vanilla, mocha finish.

Bottle. Not much coffee in the nose compared to the regular abduction. Flavor is similar and very much like the regular but without the harshness and tartness. I actually prefer this to the regular hut there is not much coffee. Overall a solid stout but would buy guess they added coffee to it if you didn’t tell me. Batch 112

650 mL bottle. Love their names and labels. Not much head. Has coffee, vanilla, and roast in the nose, but it doesn’t smell huge. The flavour is pretty well balanced up front, with coffee and vanilla, and caramel sweetness balancing the mild roast and booze. Needs a little more roast, actually. Finishes quickly. None of the flavours overwhelm the others. Nice, but not great.

last night while watching tv, pours oil black with a quick tan head. nose of black coffee. big coffee grinds upfront with undulating chocolate sweetness. a quick flash of vanilla on a lingering finish. body is light, feels watery like the hand full of other abductions I’ve ticked.

Bottle with Vincent and others. Pours black with thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, spruce, pine, and earthiness. Fairly sweet and a little hot with a bitter finish. A lot of hop flavor for a stout, balanced by the coffee.

Bomber, from the Bier Koning, @ home. Batch # 113 (brewed ( April 2013). Very dark brown (not quite black) color. Brown head, quickly receding. Aroma’s of ground coffee, heavy roasted malts, mocha, sweet, some red fruit. Flavor is rather sweet, sticky toffee, dried fruits. Medium bodied. Finish is roast, somewhat ashy, hardly any bitterness.
