22 oz bomber. The pour is a dark dark brown with a thin tan collar of head and no lace. The area is pretty big on coffee. There is a great licorice on the nose backed up by a little booziness. The malts balance out well, and this is just a good smelling offering. The flavor is decent. There is a lot of chocolate malts up front, rolling through a good licorice and into a great coffee induced aftertaste. This is smooth and rich. The mouth feel is a little light, but the soft carbonation helps it come across a really creamy. I like how the booze is well hidden and you don't get the same level as in the nose. Well done, but could be a little thicker ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle served in a Pipeworks Snifter. Batch # 66 A: Pours a jet black color with a tan head forming on the pour. It recedes a quickly to a thin ring. Sheets of lace are left behind. S: The usual Abduction flavors come through with a great blast of coffee. Espresso, milk chocolate, roasted malts and light dark fruit presence as well. T: The coffee comes through much heavier and richer in the taste. Deep waves of coffee beans, sweet espresso, and vanilla beans. The taste slowly subsides to some dark fruit, fruity yeast and some roasted malts. The finish is sweet with a hint of vanilla as well. M: Drinks wonderfully. Heavier bodied with a medium-low carbonation level. A great mix of roasty and sweet on the finish. Drinks very smooth. O: I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Better than the regular Abduction for sure. I like how the coffee flavors complimented the regular base instead of overpowering it. Definitely a winner that I hope gets put out again. Serving type: bottle

Bottle share thanks to Homer. Pours black. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is smooth, not much coffee though. Actually way better than normal, harshness is gone. Tasty, but lacking coffee.

Excelente.

Black, Brown thick head. Smell is hoppy, and with some fruity coffee. Delicius coffe. Very fruity and light-roasted as mentioned. Slight vanilla, some Dark chocolate and nice roast in general. Not enough vanilla, but still really good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle to bertha snifter. Cola like pour. Super fizzy. No retention. More sweet and fruity than coffee. Bad bottle? Past it’s prime? Something isn’t right.

Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours black with creamy tan head. Aroma is coffee. That is all...just lots and lots of coffee. Taste follows with lots of coffee, some cocoa and charred wood.
