Pours black, quick leaving head, cola like carbonation. Smell fruity coffee and chocolaty stout. Roasty and no bitterness. Taste a bit sweeter, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and roast. Medium body. I feel this drinks more like an imp porter than imp stout. Flavors mesh well together. Fairly simple but well done.

Bottle 650ml @ Geokkjer
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long coffee, roasted and chocolate finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of coffee and alcohol. Taste is of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and a hint of vanilla. Long aftertaste of coffee and vanilla. Full body and soft carbonation. Coffee taste is quite balanced and overall this beer is pretty good.

22 oz bottle shared with the group. Pours a dark cola brown to black with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have nice roasted malt, strong coffee, some chocolate, alcohol is warming but doesn’t play much in the flavor. Solid treatment.

Bottle, split at Bruce’s pad, big thanks to Kenny 09/12/13. Light black with a thin tan covering. Nose is big espresso roast, spice, dark chocolate, light roast. Taste comprises earthy cocoa, spice, coffee blast, dark malts, touch of dark fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry light roast closure. Decent coffee fuelled impy - would revisit any time!

Bottle thanks to FullObs. Batch 248/250/252, about 4 months old. Pours very dark brown with a small head that quickly fades to a thin ring. Aroma is nice fresh light roasted coffee, some light sweet lactose, vanilla, cocoa, and caramel. Coffee is the dominant taste and there’s a great sweet/bitter balance. Chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and light burnt wood make it through well too. Solid coffee stout that hides the high abv very well.

Aroma of roasted malt, wood, whiskey, vanilla, dark chocolate. Strong alcoholic whiskey taste with roasted malt and chocolate, fruity finish, with a robust roast and wood aftertaste. Beats the Danish Red Wine edition.

Bottle shared by ericteusink. Lots of vanilla and a bit of bourbon sweetness. Little bit of coffee left here. Smooth and tasty with a seroius roasted malt and bittersweet chocolate profile.
