Jet black pour with no head. Sweet candy aroma. Taste is full of chocolate, molasses and espresso. Super thick mouth and very creamy. Taste is full of candy. Slight alcohol burn. Long espresso finish. Really damn good!

Bottle, 22oz. Itís a really dark brown beer, topped by a dense, finger-thick tan head. Lots of coffee in the aroma, really loads of it, with dark chocolate and some alcohol. A bit one-dimensional, and that goes for the flavor too. Still, itís really wonderful. Itís lighlty warming on the palate, full-bodied and quite soft, with the coffee dominating the flavor. Long, warming and coffee dominated finish. Love the coffee in this one, but to be honest itís sort of boring besides that. 131026

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted coffee sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed with a solid drinkable beer.

Tasting at Bruceís pad. Opaque dark brown beer with a decent pale tan head. Palate is slightly viscous and a little soft. Smooth dark malt and dark malt cream well integrated with smooth coffee and a touch of dark fruits. Smooth finish. Good stuff from this very good brewer.

65cl bottle, served in Duvel cup. Pours pitch black with medium brown creamy head. Complex aroma: roasted malts, caramel, coffee and hints of vanilla and grape. Strong taste: more roasted malts and cooffe than the aroma, very little sweetness. Some hops on the palate. Creamy mouthfeel, good carbonation. Good beer.

Bottle... Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, fleeting, off-white head. The nose features acrid, deeply-roasted coffee and gobs of fudge. Full-bodied and ϋber velvety with tickling carbonation. Roasty, bittersweet, mocha flavor. Lengthy, bittersweet, espresso finish. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

Pour dark with a sticky and gradually dissipating khaki head. The aroma is malty sweet and of roasted coffee, mild booze, vanilla notes, and cocoa. In the flavor it seems to have mirrored the scent. I picked on stronger intensities of vanilla, carmel malts, and semi bitter cocoa. The finish pleasantly lingers of rich mix ingredients and impacts my palate mildly. Overall worth having for any coffee stout fan.

GI Stout Fest 2014. Pours a dark brown-black with a medium brown head. Aroma is of roasted coffee but not crazy intense. The taste is bitter with some coffee flavor. Medium mouth feel.
