Bottle to a snifter. Pours black with a thin Carmel head the dissipates quickly. Smells of coffee, malts and slight chocolate. Taste is the same nice hints of coffee, malts, chocolate leaves a sweet aftertaste. Overall a great beer!

Botella de 65 cl en el Lupulo. Septiembre de 2013. Alucinante birra con gran sabor a tostados y café y más café, con un cuerpo fuerte y denso. Una gran imperial stout. Imprescindible repetir de nuevo.

Big fan of this beer. Batch 66, had it in the cellar for a few years. Amazing stout, really taste the vanilla followed by the coffee. Like drinking a vanilla latte almost. Really smooth, really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted on 6/23/14 from a capped 22oz bomber bottle sent to me in a trade. Pours a very thick, nearly black, dark brown with a thick, smooth brown head that slowly recedes to a thick collar of lace. The nose is almost exactly like a mocha with a touch of vanilla, plenty of dark chocolate, deep, dark espresso, and plenty of roast with a hint of vanilla. The flavor is the same sweet-ish vanilla tinged mocha with tons of milky dark chocolate and bitter, deep espresso. The body is super full, one of the creamiest beers I have ever had, with average, but smooth carbonation, and a very long touch of vanilla, mocha finish.

Bottle shared by Rob and Lisa, thanks for the opportunity. Huge coffee and brown sugary roasted grain goodness. The sweetness compliments the coffee flavor very nicely. Great brew!

22 oz. bottle served in a Pipeworks Snifter. Batch # 66 A: Pours a jet black color with a tan head forming on the pour. It recedes a quickly to a thin ring. Sheets of lace are left behind. S: The usual Abduction flavors come through with a great blast of coffee. Espresso, milk chocolate, roasted malts and light dark fruit presence as well. T: The coffee comes through much heavier and richer in the taste. Deep waves of coffee beans, sweet espresso, and vanilla beans. The taste slowly subsides to some dark fruit, fruity yeast and some roasted malts. The finish is sweet with a hint of vanilla as well. M: Drinks wonderfully. Heavier bodied with a medium-low carbonation level. A great mix of roasty and sweet on the finish. Drinks very smooth. O: I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Better than the regular Abduction for sure. I like how the coffee flavors complimented the regular base instead of overpowering it. Definitely a winner that I hope gets put out again. Serving type: bottle
