Bottle shared by dudabide. Poured hazy reddish yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate wheat and tart fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium tart & sweet flavor with a medium sweet & tart finish of moderate duration. Interesting beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank alongside a raspberry one. This one has more of the Blue Lady funk and less of the sourness of the raspberry. Has a dry tartness, nice cranberry flavor. A good one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... Pours cloudy and pink with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The bouquet offers loads of lemon and cranberry. Light to medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is fruity and super-tart with lots of astringent and acidic cranberry. Short, crisp, tangy finish. Fun stuff to drink. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle shared by tom10101, thanks! pours dirty cloudy pale pink without a head. light red fruit plain acidity upfront with a cheese load - not very enticing. some wheat and decent lactic profile, shy if not bland fruits although acidity is clearly perceptible, some herbal and grassy notes. average to soft carbonation, light body, short herbal and lightly acidic finish. quenching it is but not very complex.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at Zwanze Day - 2012 (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich cranberry berry hue, pink reddish hues glow well. Thick and richer haze overall with frothy whitish pink head atop, laces well as a firm film. Aromas are lemon, lactic yogurt, gentle kisses of cranberry. Some flakey bread, wheat, and cereal grains. Initial is lighter bodied, rich and spritzy with mellow carbonation, mellow medium sour lactic elements. Touches of cranberry, lemons, and gentle sourness stick to the palate. Middle is a bit more sour, a bit thin and watery at times. A good sessioner with big cranberry elements at times. Backend shows sourness, lactic elements, straw, and dryness. Finishes with lingering lactic acid, lemon, and yogurt. Grass, gentle dry grainy elements. A bit thinner than the Raspberry iteration, the Cranberry adds to the sour element, some tannic elements. I think Well Read was a better overall treatment. But this is young and deserves a fair shake from the bottle. Nice beer, I’d call it more sour than the Raspberry iteration.. but perhaps a bit less complex and put together overall. I actually really like this. It’s a lot of fun to see the differences between these fruit treatments and hope we keep seeing repeats but also some crazy adventures into blends and such into the warmer months. Cheers, guys.. keep it going.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled and served in my new shiny Pipework Berliner glassware: Pinkish hued with an initial fizzy head that faded away , pretty much no lace. The aroma has notes of Lactic and Acetic acid, wheat and pils malts, some mild cranberries, and a bit of Isovaleric acid (moldy cheese) and some dirty minerally earthy notes. The taste has a nice moderate sourness, mild fruity notes and a touch of a pithy character. Husky wheat and grainy pils malts layer under the initial sour fruit overtones. Very minimal funk or cheese notes, more like gentle wild flowers with a touch of sea water (okay I am weird). Light and lively mouth feel with a very slight lingering vinegar notes. Overview: I am not much of a fan of Cranberries (thanks to those awful Cranberry Jelly abominations forced upon me during the holidaze) but to be honest I would have liked to see a tad more here. That said, this brew has a nice moderate sour acidity and you can still pick out the pale grain bill under it all. A successful effort, I like this a tad more than the Well Read Temptress

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of funky berries, cheese, must, and faint lemon. It pours a dull pink with a small pinkish-white head that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of mild cranberry. The finish has light musty/dusty lemon. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.

750ml bottle shared by Madvike. Orange-pink body, murky. Lacy white head. The aroma isn’t that pleasant, but the taste is unique and nice. Very spritzer like. Dry, puckering cranberry tones. Unique.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (750 ml). Courtesy of pantanap. Hazy watermelon color with a low white/pinkish head and little to no lacing. Aroma is bland with cranberries, lemony notes and light herbal presence. Taste is bland too with cranberries, lemon and light herbal notes. Light body. Watery. Medium carbonation. At least, it’s drinkable. It was my first Piperworks beer, maybe my expectations were too high...
