Glaucus is the mythological existence of a being, both man and fish, a deity amongst mere mortals. The only beer fitting of such a name marries bold and spicy Belgian yeasy with bright citric American hops in a way even the gods would adore. Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. very perfumy hop aroma - coconut - fresh though. Medium body, good sweet fruitiness and then again these rather perfumy aroma hops. Fortunately the Belgian yeast is completely buried. 060413

Orange in color with a light haze and some white head. Floral and very tropical aromas. Some pine, melon, apple, and grapefruit. Sweet bread and caramel malts. Good fruity hop character. Lots of tropical and citrus notes. Some sweet malt, pear, apple, and banana. A touch of yeast, spice, and a light bitterness on the finish.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex yeast and balanced aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy yeast bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks! Pours a bit hazy orange appearance with an off white head. Kind of soapy, floral, a touch spicy, light citrusy aroma. Somewhat bitter, weirdly spicy, mango, light pineapple, soapy hoppy flavor. Not bad.
