Thanks to the kind soul who shared this at the recent Tampa Crew Tasting. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is some light malt, tropical fruit, Belgian yeast, and some herbs. Flavor is similar with malt, Belgian yeast, and spices. Light to medium in body and overall a nice Belgian IPA.

Draft at First Draft in Chicago. Grassy, citrus, yeasty, dank hops, skunky weed aroma. Bone dry palate, funky warm yeast, pilsnerish grassy hops - maybe Mosaic. Crisp, dry, bitter, herbal finish with some spicy clove showing up in the far finish. Outstanding.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Restrained aroma in a straw pour. Similarly restrained flavor profile. Mildly hop forward but with a light Belgian fruit body and crisp clean finish. Manages to totally hide its strength - which makes it dangerously delicious.

Light golden yellow, very clear. Black liquorice, melon, molasses. Light pine. Good bit of sweetness. Oily, medium body. Not much carbonation. Long finish. Good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
In short: A very sweet, quite spicy and generously fruity-hoppy golden Belgian Ale. Chaotic beer of low drinkability. Fail.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed when around 2 or 3 months of age. Bottle from cetherid, thanks Chris.
The look: Cloudy bright golden body topped by a medium white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is musky, spicy, hoppy, cantaloupes, citrus fruits. Intriguing but not necessarily inviting aroma. In mouth the beer feels thick but the lively carbonation makes for a decent mouthfeel. Taste didnít win me over. High sweetness sensation surprises and seems to come out of nowhere and isnít accompanied by the richness I want from a sweet beer. Spiciness is a bit too much for its own good. Sweet peach juice, cantaloupes, and sweet apricots juice swimming in ginger and other spices. Strong Belgian yeast presence. Very hoppy but the hopping is not harmonious with the rest of the beer. This is a class of a bunch of stuff, total chaos, a bomber that was hard to finish. The mix of flavors spices, sweetness and hops bitterness in this beer go together like hot sunny days, leather car seats and nudism.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have a good fruit character, Belgian yeast, spicy notes including white pepper, some sweet mal, mild bi tterness to the finish. This is nice enough, but lower the abv a bit, keep the flavor and can it and I would be all in.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy light orange with a finger of white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with belgian yeast. Taste is medium bitter. Pine and citrus with spicy belgian yeast. Just a hint of banana on the finish. Full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. Iíve yet to have a beer from Pipeworks that has not been awesome.

Big thanks to StFun for this one. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a creamy white head. Nose shows pineapple and lots of Belgian esters. Lots of overripe fruit juice. Super pineapple-y with some doughy notes. Heavy interaction between the hops and the Belgian yeast.
