COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
White Stout brewed with Lactose Sugar with Cacao, Coffee, and Vanilla added. Way out west there’s this beer . . . beer I wanna tell ya’ about. Beer by the name Hey, Careful Man, There’s a Beverage Here. Beer inspired by a certain Dude’s favorite potable. This Imperial White Milk Stout is brewed with vanilla beans, an abideable amount of cacao nibs and cold-pressed coffee that really tied the beer together, did it not? It is the perfect oat soda for those days when you’re out of your element and all you can do is say, "F it, Dude, let’s go bowling."

Batch 299 302. Interesting. Brown and clear with a good nose but not sure how to describe it. Carmel maybe. Thick body and sweet flavor with vanilla and molasses and a hint of coffee. Unique... truly.

Sample during the 11th Annual Day Before Labor Day Party on 09/04/2016. Hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of cream soda and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa and cream. The finish is sweet with a creamy coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear, dark orange appearance with a light tan ring of foam. Light peppery spice?, coffee, vanilla, chocolate and milky sugar in the aroma. Similar flavor, adding a moderate, lingering sweetness. Medium to full body with soft carbonation and a creamy smooth feel. Pretty solid beverage overall, man.

Pours dark golden yellow with a moderate white froth. Aroma is vanilla, coffee and lactose. Taste is a weird mess of vanilla, lactose, coffee and grassy grains. This didn’t work for me.

On tap @ Emporium - Chicago. Pour is cloudy yellow/orange with a small white head. Flavor and aroma of lactose, vanilla beans, roasted malt, mocha, and slight chocolate. Tastes like an imperial vienna lager.

Bottle pour tulip. Clear caramel color with an average white head than shrinks and leaves little lacing. Aroma is cream, booze, and pepper. Taste is alcohol with cream, subtle pepper, malts, and more of a vodka type flavor. Totally similar to a white russian. Average thickness and great for what they are trying to do. Another pipeworks winner.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2016 22oz bottle, poured into a brandy snifter. The aromas of caramel, cocoa, and vanilla are initially noted with intensity, as well as a healthy dose of creamy lactose sugar. Undertones include cookie dough, and a soft acetone warmth that turns towards coffee beans with a light citrus hint. It pours a clear, oily, lightly effervescent, rich amber with a soft, light tan head containing small to micro bubbles and leaving only a mild retention and light lace. The taste profile is a medium high sweet with a nicely blended medium bitter. The texture is thickish and sticky with a soft fizz carbonation and a medium full body containing a strong chocolate chip cookies / shortbread and milk character with a syrupy caramel undertone. The finish is surprisingly clean and fresh with cooked brown sugar, coffee, and a smooth vodka alcohol warmth. It?s aftertaste is very mellow but has a lingering, dry, boozy quality
