Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate. coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130427]

Opaque black - brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Moderate carbonation. Sweetish dark malts, just a touch of roast. A little dark chocolate. Nicely balanced vanilla. Mild fruity tang and a whisper of coffee. Semi dry finish with a chocolatey malt aftertaste. East drinking.
