3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. A black pour out of the bottle with a huge fluffy and fizzy tan head. There’s a chocolaty aroma here, with plenty of lactose, lightly toasted grains, and some oats. Very active, prickly carbonation. Sweet chocolate, vanilla, and lactic flavors. Also some slick caramel in the body. There’s definitely a strong Hershey bar or chocolate milkshake thing going on here. A bit too sweet for me; light roast but not enough to keep up with the sweetness. The alcohol doesn’t show at all and despite the sweetness, and high(er) carbonation, I still thought this was a pretty solid beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours dark brown with copies khaki head, almost to a fault. If your not careful you'll get a glass full of foam. Roasts aroma. Chocolate, roasted flavor throughout. Somewhat thin body for a milk stout. Good, not great.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Looks like an average stout. Smells like mediocrity. Taste is pure Tootsie Rolls, yet somehow stops before becoming too sweet. Hey, it's not awful, and that's a huge win for Pipeworks.

Pours a Derek black color with a nice java colored head. Nose is all chocolate, malt and sweet. Taste is chocolate, malt and coffee, with a pleasing sweet taste. Finish is semi dry, sweet and ends with the same tasty flavors. Gotta love Pipeworks, via Archer Liquors, Chicago. Quaff Score 8 / 10

22 oz. bottle. From notes. Dark black pour, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and roast. Flavor is rich, lots of vanilla, chocolate, and coffee notes. There’s a lot going on here. It’s rich, delicious, lovely. Medium bodied with a velvet mouthfeel. Finishes with moderate bitterness. Delicious.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bomber at Madvikes. Deep opaque black with a nice leggy, glass lacing beige head. Batch 4. Roasty sugary chocolate toned aroma. Smooth and silky on the palate, a pleasant full body. Quite cloudy and fluffy. Big milkshake chocolate, dessert tones. A little too mellow on the carbonation at times. Really pleasant flavors, but lacks some fullness.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Had this in september, batch 26. Was not impressed. Body was very thin, chocolate seemed forced and artificial. This dog has no bark, no bite, but a lot of fleas.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy chocolate coffee aroma. Medium to heavy chocolate sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a good sweet beer.
