COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Last Kiss is a rich and seductive ale brewed in the Scottish Wee Heavy Style. Hints of vanilla and fenugreek compliment a lucious and complex malt profile. Fermented near lager temperature, subtl spice and rich malt notes make this a perfect ale to enjoy with a loved one next to the fireplace. End a cold winter night with one Last Kiss.

Bottle. Clear brown color. Thin khaki head, little dots of lace. Good big vanilla in the nose, some spice. Medium to bigger body. Light, creamy carbonation. Winter spices, some licorice, black currant, pretty rich. Vanilla. Alcohol warmth in the finish works well with the rest of the flavor. Interesting, tasty beer. Like a winter warmer / wee heavy.

Bomber to snifter (thanks alexsdad06). Looks good for the style; a somewhat opaque dark brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells semi-sweet and malty. Tastes like it smells with a touch of toastiness. Good on the palate. Enjoyable.

Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours cola brown with thin beige head. Aroma is dried fruit, some rye bread and a bit of alcohol. Taste is smokey peat, rye bread and just a bit of dried fruits. This is my favorite style, but this one misses the mark just a bit. Not as much sweetness as I prefer in my Scotch Ales.

Bottle: The aroma consists of chocolate, caramel, molasses, and faint smoke. It pours a dark brown with some orange highlights and a small beige. The flavor starts with chocolate, caramel, and molasses. The finish has some light apple and just a touch of smoke. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.

Bottle shared by MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours dark brown with a thin ring of tan head. Nose isn’t all that great--it’s malty and lightly sweet with some boozy whisky notes and dark bread. Taste is way better--big and sweet with subtle smoke and peat. Brown sugar and bread on the finish. Not a big body, but nice carbonation.

500ml courtesy of MrPickles. Big, sweet, chocolate tinged Wee Heavy. Really big on the specialty malts, hard to believe it isn’t barrel aged with all the massive sugary flavor. Has that burnt meat, smoky flavor of a Rauch, but really big a sticky sweet. Meaty, rich. Good beer.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. Sweet dark fruit and cola nose. Some vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and a hint of smoke. Maybe some coffee notes. Taste is sweet caramel and dark fruit with a bit of a cola character to it as well. Vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and very light smoke notes.

Bomber from Cardinal-Niles. Pours dark hazy brown with tan head. Nice looking for style. Aromas of vanilla, smokey malts, caramel, toffee, and some dark fruits. Flavors of rich dark malts, toffee, vanilla, light smoke, and a bit of raisin. Would love it to be a little sweeter, but that is just a personal preference. Nice wee heavy.

Tan head. Maple, vanilla, molasses on nose. Deep brown in color. Nice body. Well carbonated. Sweet. Maple til the cows come home. Molasses. Roastiness. Toasty. Great Scotch Ale. More carbonated than most. Slight booze burn. Definitely a sipper. Though dangerously easy to put back.
