Last Kiss is a rich and seductive ale brewed in the Scottish Wee Heavy Style. Hints of vanilla and fenugreek compliment a lucious and complex malt profile. Fermented near lager temperature, subtl spice and rich malt notes make this a perfect ale to enjoy with a loved one next to the fireplace. End a cold winter night with one Last Kiss.

Another great brew from a recently aquired Chicago shipment. As much as I love big IPAs ive always been partial to dark malt forward beers and this one is no exception. Pours a deep mahogany with a creamy head. Aroma of rich dark fruit and molasses (as one might expect seeing as it is brewed with it). Great rich heavy mouth feel, the molasses is rich and decadent with a hint of smoke. An awesome after dinner beer to share aroud the holidays.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours clear and brown with copper highlights and a fleeting, beige head. The aroma is an intoxicating, plush and malty swirl of vanilla, caramel, toffee and big-time mocha that’s heavier on the milk chocolate than the deeply roasted coffee portion. Full-bodied, oily and cushiony with soft carbonation. The flavor features sumptuous notes of toffee, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Leans sweet, but is far from cloying. Finishes lightly sweet with a buttery praline aftertaste. This is right there with Alesmith Wee Heavy. Instant Top Ten beer for me! This baby reminds me why a well-done Scotch ale, although tough to come by, remains my favorite style of beer. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

Aroma is rye bread, toasted bread, slightly nutty. Flavour is very sweet, berry fruit, some oak, caramel. Lingering berry fruits. Palate is sweet and slightly viscous.

Bomber thanks to the legendary footbalm. He’s not a man, he’s more. In this context, he’s my friend. Thanks Eric. Pours a dark brown color with a very small head. A big sweet nutty and toffee nose, berries. Big heavy flavors of toffee, leather, smoke, berries, a somewhat thin palate. The overall beer is dead on for this very American style. Excellent. Has some light oxidation which helps for me. Mellows it. Lovely brew.

Bottle. Dark red colour with a tiny tan head. Aroma has a thick malt profile, burnt caramel, caramelized sugar, some oaky vanilla stuff, plenty molasses, cinnamon, pepper, sweet liquorice. Taste is almost overwhelmingly sweet with lots of pepper to provide a kind of balance; also molasses, cinnamon, tons of dark malts and sugar. The high abv is well-hidden but provides a thick warmth to the finish.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma is sweet, honey, burnt sugar, molasses and vanilla among other spices. Taste is sweet and spicy, caramel and toasted malts. Cinnamon and anis. Nearly peppery heat in finish. Medium body with low carbonation. The spices suits a heavy beer like this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
