Bottle. The pour is dark with little tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate and deep malts. The taste is big and bold chocolate and coffee. I could drink this stuff like crazy, so good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bomber. The pour is a light black with a film of lighter khaki colored head and no lace. The aroma is great. There is a solid mocha here. Good coffee and heavy chocolate. I love the volume of malts here. The alcohol is nowhere to be found, which I really like. The flavor is all chocolate. There is a light coffee that starts to come in about half way through and carries out through the end. The booze is again well hidden. The mouth feel is a bit light, but there is a nice carbonation to help it cling. The aftertaste fades pretty quick, but is a good blend of chocolate and coffee for the namesake mocha. This could be excellent, but it's not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is mocha, roasted malt, but light. Appearance is black, beige head, poured light. Taste is roasted, tons of mocha, chocolate, vanilla, nice. Mouthfeel is decent, a touch light, oily, decent carbonation. Overall, itís got a pretty good taste but it falls short of my anticipated rating.

Black pour with a thin espresso head. Aroma of chocolate. Full mouth. Alcohol is very forward in this with a rubbing alcohol flavor present. No vanilla or coffee. Chocolate is very forward, but that rubbing alcohol flavor is just all over the place. The vanilla and coffee start to creep in as it warms.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2015 Bottle: Deep brown, nearly black with khaki foam & lacing. Aroma of coffee beans, bitter chocolate, roasted malt, some faint brown sugar, hint of dark fruit. Nice rich chocolate covered coffee bean flavor. Sweet undertones with a nice bitter & roasty balance. Dark chocolate & charred malt finish. Not barrel aged but thereís a kiss of woodsy notes, almost like wood chips. Nice.

Bitter chocolate with roasty malt, slight vanilla, and coffee. Not exactly as strong of coffee as I expected, though it may have fallen off due to being a couple months old.

Bottle. Color is black with tan head. Aroma is sweet chocolate with some graham and vanilla. Taste follows lots of chocolate and roasted burnt finish

Dark brown color, brown head. Dry, roasty, lightly bitter, some green pepper notes sneaking in. Ok. But not amazing.

Poured from bomber into teku glass. Decent aroma of coffee and malt without much vanilla or chocolate. Flavor follows a bit. The vanilla was there at times but for the most part didn't play a role. Coffee was the strongest, but even then, I thought it was a bit muted. Really, this beer was much more subtle than I expected. None of the additions stand out, which can be a good thing. Very smooth and easy drinking.
