3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
An enjoyable, strong IPA that has a somewhat hot, pleasant aroma of citrus and sweet fruit. Medium-bodied, with a lingering, somewhat pithy, sweetness. Good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy golden color with a big white head of persistent foam that laces the glass nicely. Aroma of grapefruit and pineapple juice with some grassy and mild biscuit scents. Taste is at first sweet with some caramel and tropical fruit juices, followed by grapefruit and citrus flavors and then some dankness. Aftertaste has some spicy alcohol and a fair amount of grassy and piney bitterness. Finishes dry with lingering bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Bright but well integrated flavors and a big but smooth bitterness.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
22oz bomber Batch: 305/308/309 -- Pours a hazy golden with white head. Aroma is a strong, clean citrus. Hints of lime, lychee, and peach. One of the most pleasant smelling beers I’ve had the chance to experience. Flavor is a simple malt backbone that lets the hop flavor dominate. Citrusy and sweet. Overall, I really like this brew. A very nice IPA I would love to have again.

A- pours a murky brown gold with a finger of eggshell white head that thins quickly. Decent lacing. S- clean and relatively weighty. Sourdough biscuits, pine and caramel malts, good pine, grapefruit and full citrus. M- body is medium sticky with a medium bitter palate. Good carbonation. T- orange pith and caramel first with some pine resin mixed in. Middle is a quality biscuit as rich malts persist. Sharper grasses and grapefruit add to the mix. Ending is soaps and grass with some lemon juice and tea bitters. Light spice. Solid DIPA.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
The most citrusy nose I've smelled. The best part is that the flavor backs it up. This is an unreal beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy orange color with a 1/2 inch white, dense foam head that is retained nicely. Aroma has a very strong orange, grapefruit, grassy presences with light tropical notes (pineapple, mango). A light grainy maltiness comes in late in the nose. Flavor is a punch to your tongue of orange and grapefruit right off the bat but quickly has grainy notes sneak in with a mild grassy hops presence in the middle and finishes up with a leafy hop bitterness. Body is modest with a modest amount of carbonation. Overall a pretty tasty brew. The hops is strong but balanced and distinct in flavors. I would definitely buy this brew again at the price offering.
As a side note: Ninja vs. Unicorn, no contest as the ninja wins out. But a Ninja vs. Quadracorn, now that’s a match up!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very nice representation of the hop profile I look for in an IPA. Nice tropical notes with flavors of mango, blueberries, orange, grapefruit, and a slight grassy note on the finish. The hops blend quite well with the sweet, but light malt backbone.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
In short: An intense bitter IPA bursting with fresh citrus fruits. Kick-ass.
How: Bottle shared at post HF FoFA 2013 party.
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a small off-white head.
In long: Nose is monstrously hoppy with a fruity citrusy and tropical character. A pleasant mouthfeel I expect from a clean medium+ size ale of superior quality. Taste is all about the hops. A solid malt backbone but really this beer is a hop monster. High in alpha acids, juicy grapefruits, lemons, other citrus fruits. Also some tropical fruits and some resin. Bitterness of high intensity. Overall bright character. For hopheads only, I loved that beer. I loved that beer with all my heart, probably some other body parts too, but not my liver, my liver is now terrified of beer.
