UPDATED: DEC 19, 2014 Bottle. Pours a amazing cristal clear light copper with small but nice off white head. Aroma has mellow fruity hops, fresh pellets, some caramel malt. Bit dank and some grapes. Taste is malty without being overly sweet. Subtle pine and bit minty. Sticky mouthfeel and extremely well hidden alcohol. Finish is grassy dry bitter and hoppy spices.

Bottle. Beautiful bright and completely clear copper, small white head. Aroma is strong on hops, almost like snorting grinded up pellets, citrus, dried apricot, some buttery stuff, almost no alcohol. Taste is not overly sweet and caramelised, which emphasises the hoppy base. Sticky and oily palate with lots og dry bitterness in the finish. Very nice and fresh.

2014-12-04. Lightly hazy bright orange body with a nice foamy white head. 3+ Aroma is a bit odd at first, sort of grassy, moderately alcoholic. Flavour is fairly bitter, interesting fruit peaks and gives way to the bitterness. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Decent but lacks the depth I was hoping for. Bottle shared by Blankboy

Flaska@NK Saluhall. Fantastiskt intensiva dofter av krusbär, grape och ananas. Kraftig käftsmäll av en massiv näve humle. En sann emaljkrullare. Mums.

Bomber from Secret Santa 2014. Thanks! Pours hazy coppery orange with frothy off-white head. Nose is tropical fruit, pine, female feety Simcoe hops. Tastes intense, with a big IBU load, notes of tangerine, pineapple, and mango, and a bitter hoppy finish.

Dark golden hue... Aroma of fresh citrus hops, pine... Flavor of citrus, light tropical notes, mango, piney hops... Fairly dry, more so than the citra... Solid

My Bottom Line:
Grapefruit and resins dominate this Double IPA’s lightly honeyed malts, in an otherwise effervescent and rather drinkable example.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A generous head of foam settles atop the hazy pale amber.
-Carbonation is higher than average for the style, which helps drinkability.
-The hops are way more resinous than fruity in this one.
-Bitterness is salient. Resinous, but also a tad vegetal
-The malts play second fiddle, which is to be expected. Moreover, they do not dwell in caramelized sugars here, which helps the hops to stand out more.
-The yeast pour obfuscates most of the subtleties in the flavor profile. And there’s a lot of yeast in the bottle...
