I was astounded by Pipeworks debut. It knocked my socks off. All of the times you hear of a beer tasting like summer and agree but agree based on the assumption that no beer could ever truly grasp the complexity, vibrance and joy of the season? Ummm this beer has all of that, it is in my opinion, a beer that elevates the style. Lookout for Pipeworks.

Truly a great beer. Smells like ninja with notes of unicorn. Taste is as colorful as the label on the bottle.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a half finger of thick lasting white head. Aroma of huge tropical fruit with a hint of citrus. Taste is light bitter. Starts big with the citrus and finishes huge with tropical fruit. Loads of pineapple and mango. Full bodied with slick yet slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, absolutely awesome. I swear i could drink this everyday.

Had it out of a bomber, poured a clear yellow color with a thin head and even lacing. The aroma is of sweet hops, tickles the nostrils even, the taste is hoptacular with notes of citrus. I Say yes!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2012 From a traveling bomber in a Pipeworks glass. Pours a deep, slightly hazy golden cover. Aroma is resiny, citrus and spicy. Medium bodied, with a nice malt undertone. Good balance, as the 8.5 abv is subdued. Finishes clean and crisp. Awesome beer.

Batch 33. Pours hazy golden. Dense, lasting white head. Resinous aroma. Quite citric. Some pine. Subdued malt presence. Dry finish. Hops run the show on this one. Excellent.

Super fresh bottle. Clerk at Binny’s sait it was bottled only a day or two before.
Pours a pale hazy golden color.
The nose of this bee is absolutely fantastic. Loads of tropical fruit, citrus, some floral and pine elements in play as well. Really well done.
The flavor is like hop joy in you mouth with a nice, dry body and the perfect amount of malt character.
One of my new favorites.

Pours pale orange with a small white fizz. Smells of citrus and hints of piney resin, and soft biscuit notes. Taste is piney bitter with a hint of sweet citrus. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and a mild fizzy mouth-carbonation, Pipeworks Ninja vs. Unicorn Double IPA finishes with a sweet drying sensation down the middle of the tongue.
