Purchased at Binny’s in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a lazy Tuesday night just prior to leaving for vacation. Appearance is a murky dark brown with not much head, starts off fizzy white and rather quickly dissipates. Aroma is pretty sweet, the sweet potatoes definitely come out, along with brown sugar, a touch of cinnamon and vanilla, smell is pretty decadent and dessert-like. Taste is pretty thick and syrupy, sweet potato / yam flavor, a very light abrasive finish which is pretty good, also not very carbonated which isn’t a bad thing. Overall - very enjoyable brew, more dessert like than I expected. Recommended!

[5/1/13] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Aroma of lots of pumpkin and winter spices. Sweet flavor with pumpkin and spices. Medium-bodied. Not my thing.

Draft at Mikkeller. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of massive cinnamon, Christmas pudding, toffee, Christmas spices and brown sugar. It’s Christmas in a glass! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy murky amber colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of berries, cinnamon, nutmeg and smoke. Flavour of berries, nutmeg, cinnamon, grass and caramel. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a spicy nutmeg finish. Nice spicy bomb.

Pours hazy mahogany color with a minimal head. Aroma of spices, vegetables, some yeast and herbs. Flavour of herbs, yeast, spices and vegetables. Cardamom on Weird and unique but in agood way.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours hazy amber with a small, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma has cinnamon, coriander, cardemum, mild pepper, some caramel. Highish carbonation, fine creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel, cinnamon, cloves, mild liquorice. Mild bitterness.

Pours dark reddish with a smooth white head. Aroma of spices,
some malts and syrup. Taste is spicy, peppery and malty with some sweet notes. Finish is sweet and spicy. Unbalanced, quite spicy and sweet.
