COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
North & Western is a dry-hopped Saison style ale. Starting with a base of pilsner malt we infuse this beer with hops from around the globe, both in the boil and with a hefty dose of dry hops in the tank. The result is a complex combination of spicy yeast character with layers of floral, citrus, pone, and fruity hop notes. Drink this one fresh to get the most from the awesome bouquet of hops.

The most recent bottle release. Pours a yellow gold with a thin head. The aroma is light on the Belgian spicy yeast and heavier on the herbal, citrus, and pine hops. The yeast is pretty mellow in the flavor as well. Not too much of that barnyard, hay, or earthiness flavors that you might be expecting. But the pale malts have both a nice bitterness and spiciness near the finish. Especially as this warms those herbal pepper spices from the hops and yeast are not overpowering but really good. Tasty.

Pours thick murky orange golden sandy I color with a white head. Aroma brings a blend of sweet juicy citrus hops with the base or wheat-like pilsner malts. Flavor of the hops is the backbone to he saison yeast, with nice juicy orange notes rounding out the farmhouse yeast flavors on a juicy, satiating body.

Bottle... Cloudy, golden pour with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is doughy with components of floral hops, peaches and apricots. Full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is a melding of sweet peach nectar and spicy, moderately bitter hops. Finishes tongue-numbing and bittersweet. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

Very hazy amber beer, big fluffy off white head. Palate is soft and airy with fine carbonation. Semi dry. Very nice tangy orange with touches of mango and apricot. Mild seltzer minerals. Light finish with whispers of flowers and lime. Nicely hopped Saison.

Wafting hops. A lot of hops, a lot of peach, dry and funky finish. Worth a try. A bit of a strange finish. Bottle from 20 west.

Mostly clear orange with big, foamy, flotsam off-white head, strong legs / Mellow, floral nose of orchard fruit, citrus, spice, soap / Light to medium body, very lively carbonation, dry with astringency and fruit somewhat lacking, and bitter finish / Stylish, dry flavors of grain, straw, chrysanthemum, marigold, orange peel, apple, coriander / A bit unduly dry and bitter, without enough fruit for support, but all in all an elegant and complex brew.

Aroma is citrus, yeast, spices and a small hint of bubblegum. The flavor is citrus, spices, malts, bubblegum and a tart/mildly sour finish.

Turbid straw colored pour with a white head. Grassy nose with some pine and citrus zest. Aromas of green apple and solvent with a bit of sweet caramel malt. The flavor is a bit better, but still not terribly enjoyable. Heavy grass character, some pine, light vegetal notes, and lots of green apple. Mild malt sweetness, light citrus, and a touch of bitterness.
