Completely black beer. Tones of chocolate in the aroma and flavour. Very sweet, with a slightly acid touch due to the orange.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Pours Dark brown/almost black with a small beige head, Aroma is sweet with chocolate and some alcohol fumes. Taste is sweet at first, roasted and very bitter with dark, dry chocolate. Perhaps slight "romerska bågar"/orange, some alcohol. There’s a metallic/spicy thing going on that I can’t put my finger on. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth mouth feel. Long heavy bitter herbal after taste.
Not really my cuppa but really something for those who like their stouts like super bitter dark chocolate.

This poured a darker brown with a tan head. Aroma was of chocolate, roasted malt, and oranges. Flavor was pretty much the same, orange was subdued unfortunately.

Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester, shared with Weasel Keneivel. Nigh on black pour with a smallish beige head. Choc laden nose with notes of orange, roasted malts ,coffee and hops. Flavour was similarly comprised with a tidy sweet/bitter balance. ABV very handily smothered. Warmed up very nicely and super moreish. I’m a sucker for Chocolate Orange so this was a total win for me.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2014 Pitch black color with short-lasting thin beige head. Aroma is rich in chocolate and has slightly hints of orange, also roasted malts are present. Taste is richer in orange, than interacts perfectly with the chocolate, giving a bitter/sweet sensation that makes it so interesting. Aftertaste is sweet and bitter as well. Very interesting Imperial Stout.

Pours deep black with a defined khaki or espresso like foam head that laced my glass. The aroma is a blend of roasted bread malts, semi sweet sugary malts, milk chocolate, and earthy orange peels. As for taste it was full in body, there was a medium to high intensity of bitter booziness with a mild orange flavor that appears to linger in the finish. I also picked up on bitter chocolate, a noticeable sugary malt taste that attempts to balance this beverage. Overall a fine beverage. I wish there was more of an orange intensity and a softer lingering bitter taste.

Black color with a light tan head that quickly diminishes. Aroma has notes of roasted malts with light orange hints. Flavor is slightly sweet with good maltiness, orange hints in the aftertaste and some coffee bean also present. Easy drinkable in spite the high ABV.
