Bomber. Poured near black with a short-lived dark brown head. The aroma picked up chocolate and biscuity malts with accents of orange cream.. some vanilla too. The flavor found cocoa, vanilla, and Cadbury Cream Eggs at the core with a little odd sourness around.. muddled, a touch sour, and funky on the weird finish. Medium-plus bodied and very sweet with too much odd contrasting stuff.. seemed a little off.

Bottle thanks to Tooch4321. Pours pretty opaque black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is a lot like those orange filled easter candies actually. Lots of cocoa, hints of anise, orange zest. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, a bit sickly in a difficult to describe way. Hints of ashtray. Medium body.

subpar stout, thin, sharp, flat and with low drinkability, not interesting at all, i think the orange ruined it. Just added a flat thin boozyness. PASS.

Negro opaco y espuma beis poco persistente. Aromas de cafť , vainilla, fruto negro Šcido. Cuerpo denso con inicio dulce de mermelada de frutos negros y final de amargor equilibrado, seco y tostado. El regusto es de naranja.

Bottle from last fall. My first and only of the abduction beers - at least, the first full bottle Iíve ever had. Went into it with fairly low expectations as a friend didnít like it so much but was presently surprised. A nice mellow imperial stout, sweet, chocolate, little hint of orange but very minimal. Wonder if it was more orange-heavy earlier on and I shouldíve drank it earlier. Oh well.

22oz bottle pours a murky black with a ring of off white head. Nose had a lot of orange and molasses, malt, toast. Flavor is better, cakey, chocolte, vanilla, caramel, molasses, orange, brown sugar. Full, sticky finish.

Bottle, courtesy of a kind soul... shared in a location remote of my dining room.
Pours basically black with a small head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma has a nice roasty character all around, itís a little boozy and even sort of floral at times. Itís got a nice orange zest & cocoa thing going on for sure.

The flavor offers plenty of sweet on bitter balance. Itís got some orange zest, peel, & flesh for sure the chocolate element tends towards a dark chocolate so itís nicely bitter. The booze is well controlled for sure.

Iíve not had one of these Abduction beers yet that isnít pretty fun.

Black pour with a thin beige head .... Aroma of orange peel, roasted malts and dark chocolate ..... Taste of orange peel, roasted malts, dark chocolate and vanilla cream .... Has a slight bitter and booze to it .... Not my favorite of the series but half decent
