UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Bottle: Basically black with only a light shimmer of deep brown at the top, mild dark beige head that drops to a shabby collar and skin. Aroma is creamy, brew house coffee, sweet cream, orange zest, hint of roast, and some bittersweet chocolate. Coffee is surprisingly the strongest aroma. Taste is like a cool, iced coffee drink youíd get at Starbucks... Sweet creamy coffee with some zesty orange thatís light enough to not be intrusive with mocha drizzle. Finish of cocoa beans and light roast, just a touch of finishing sweetness. Medium mouth feel, medium carbonation. Not a huge orange presence, but enough to make an impact... Very nice brew.

Pours deep black with a defined khaki or espresso like foam head that laced my glass. The aroma is a blend of roasted bread malts, semi sweet sugary malts, milk chocolate, and earthy orange peels. As for taste it was full in body, there was a medium to high intensity of bitter booziness with a mild orange flavor that appears to linger in the finish. I also picked up on bitter chocolate, a noticeable sugary malt taste that attempts to balance this beverage. Overall a fine beverage. I wish there was more of an orange intensity and a softer lingering bitter taste.

Black color with a light tan head that quickly diminishes. Aroma has notes of roasted malts with light orange hints. Flavor is slightly sweet with good maltiness, orange hints in the aftertaste and some coffee bean also present. Easy drinkable in spite the high ABV.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Tar-black pour with a small, creamy, mushroom-colored head. Decent retention. The aromatics include milk chocolate and orange peel. Not as much orange as I was hoping for, but delightful nonetheless. Full-bodied and velvety with subdued carbonation. The flavor is of medium-bitter dark chocolate, charcoal and a hint of citrus fruit. Finishes burnt, acrid and super carbonic. A world class brew from the good folks at Pipeworks!

Black thick color/body. Oily sticky texture. Strong orange flavors, a lot of warmness and mouthfulness in it. Milfay cake aftertaste. very very nice I.S beer.

Bottle shared with wyzzywyz22. Thanks mate. Bought from Beer Moth, Manchester. Poured a drak brown almost black with a thin to medium tan head. Aroma is subtle chocolate orange truffle, light roasting, leather. Flavour is well balanced chocolate and orange, the orange comes through very well, roasted malts, medium to high sweetness. Full bodied. No way is this 10.5%. Very well done. Different. Very good. Really enjoyed it, a unique experience. Why I love beer.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Very dark brown to black color, slightly a dark red glare coming through, small to average sized tan head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, a weird plant-like vegetable hint. Taste malts, some chocolate, oranges, nuts, slightly fruits, some bitter. Pretty weird beer, kind of donít know whether I like it or hate it.

Bottle 0,5l. @joes. Dark brown color and no head. Smells I donít know how to subscribe it. Tastes sweet, chocolat and orange jam, like pimís cookies from lu. Donít really like this, but itís original.
