Bottle. Pours hazy golden, small white head, creamy, good lacing. Aroma is wheat, kiwi, yeast, strawberry. Flavor is the same, ready to pull out both fruits, which is unusual for me.light sweet, no real bitterness. Light body, high carbonation, but not offputting. I enjoyed this one, and i think my wife will too.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear dark orange with minimal head. Smells like kiwi and strawberry cream instant oatmeal with a hint of spices. Taste is quite tart. Kiwi, strawberry, lime and other tart citrus fruits. Light bodied with a thin and slightly sticky texture. Lively, almost fizzy carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, awesome. Another homerun from Pipeworks.

750 ml bottle served in a Pipeworks snifter. Batch # 172 A: Pours a hazy golden color with with a pure white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin ring. Some mild splotches of lace down the glass. S: Mild yeasty sweetness with some peppery notes, a little bread crumb and some very mild fruity notes. I’m not picking up much of the Kiwi or Strawberry. T: Light kiwi tartness. Some seedy strawberry jam on the finish. Yeast sweetness as well. Mild peppery notes. Minimal malty crackers. M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation level. Soft sweetness on the finish. O: The flavors were all a bit understated and I actually preferred the base wit by itself. The tartness from the kiwi was a nice touch, though. If it was a bit more forward I might have enjoyed this more. Serving type: bottle 07-31-2013

Hazy yellow, white head. Nose is kiwi, strawberry, wheat, and refreshing. Easy palate, fruit, tart, lightly acidic, easy finish.

from a bomber. Pours cloudy yellow. Flavor is grassy and ever so slightly bitter and citric. Not getting much fruit here. Tart brief finish. Different than I expected, much more tart and Belgian tasting and much less fruity than I expected. Solid brew.

Sampled at Perennial’s Midwest Belgian Beer Festival - Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. The aroma is pretty mild, but seems to have pale-ish malt and hints of kiwi. It has a light clean body with mild carbonation. The taste has pale malt, kiwi, strawberry and spice. The finish is fruity with a bit of caramel. Good.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. A bright orange-gold color pours out with a short-lived fizzy head. Nothing sticks around on top so no lacing on the glass. The aroma uncovers wheat and straw notes, before the fruit enters the mix; strawberries, kiwi, and perhaps tangerine too. In the mouth, this is lively, with active carbonation, and a short, fizzy finish. A bit creamy/slick in the body. Soft malt and wheat character merges with kiwi, strawberry, and banana flavors. Lightly tart, moderately sweet, with a little orange spice providing some contrast. This definitely has promise but in the end it falls a little short for me. It comes across as a bit thin, with flavors that I can’t decide if I like or not. I’d like to try their regular Wit sometime.

Bottle shared with Frank on brewday: Hazy golden hue with a fizzy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of strawberry, kiwi, orange zest and blueberry fruits along with pils and 2-row base malts. Some cardamom and mexican cake spice vapours with light white wheat and flowery esters. The taste has a nice tart/earthy/grainy combination with balance versus bitterness that I like creating a strange summer lightly sour’d witbier. Earthy and dusty yeast finish. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing with a dry ending. Different for sure but I quite dig it.

Bottle from Cardinal. Pours hazy golden light orange with white head. Aromas of strawberry, kiwi, light spice, wheat, and yeast. Flavors of light spices, citrus, berries, little kiwi, and wheat. Nice fuller body for wheat with nice mix of citrus and berry. Nice beer.
