Really good example of what it is. . . warm, spicy and substantial, just like a juicy sammich. With the extra benefit of having the most blatantly phallic label ever. That pickle really dominates the "appearance" to me, but otherwise its dark like motor oil, as youd expect. Roasty and spicy as youd expect. They get that same slightly bloody flavor that they sometimes bleed from the unicorn. Not the type of brew Id usually drink, but totally exellent. They could have been stupid and gone all peppercorny on this one but no-- solid, reserved, substantial, complex spice. Really, almost exactly like a good piece of pastrami.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with reddish reflexes and coffee-like brownie medium head that goes into nice lacing although when poured again it acts like coca-cola. After a while it becomes completely flat. Aroma is very rich and intriquing, resembles me a good...burger. Sweet-sour sauce based on mustard, white dry wine, light roasted note, brown sugar, light corriander, vanilla, pepper. It is very well .balanced and actually made me quite hungry :-) Taste is malty sweet with spicy sensations on the tongue and bitter finish. Some pepper spices in the aftertaste, very cool. Perfect body for such beer, a bit oily but very smooth, creamy, almost coffee-like or stoutish in this regard. I was afraid about drinkability but it is quite high. A nice surprise, great one for colder evenings.

Bottle - Pours mahogany with a ring of white head. Nose is menthol, clove, baking spice, and light bread malt. Taste is coriander, cardamom, smoked malt, and a yeasty finish with spicy rye. Thin with lots of carbonation.

W aromacie pomarańcze z goździkami, wędzonka objawiająca się czymś na kształt wędzonej papryki, banan, wanilia, cynamon... Spjny i genialny! W smaku słodkie, sporo mlecznej czekolady, lekko kwaskowe, na finiszu wędzonka, wyraźny posmak musztady i kolendry. Konsystencja kremowa, alkohol dobrze ukryty, wyczuwalny w przelyku. Ciekawostka - warka z konca roku 2012, zdążyło się przez ten czas doskonale ułożyć. Szalone i bardzo smaczne piwo.

This beer tastes wrong but is very good. It is mild at the first glance, but spicy in the aftertaste and reminds with its taste and smell of a greasy fast food shop. Very impressive indeed.

Now this is a nice winter beer! Pepper catch, ginger, cloves, coriander. Combined with a nice smoky malt body. This belongs under the christmas tree. Hot spiciness. Great!

Bottle... Pours dark brown with crimson flashes and a small, fragile, off-white head. The nose is both smoky and chocolaty, but Im not picking up any pastrami-like spices here. Medium to full-bodied and lightly creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is too sweet, even for my sweet tooth. Its loaded with chocolate crme and winter spices. Lengthy, syrupy finish. No pastrami-like magic here. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

650 ml bottle shared. Pours a light brown body with a slight brown, thin head. Aromas of spices, bread, cinnamon and spicy notes. Taste was everything you can find in an Easter meal. Cinnamon, bread notes, caramel, coriander seed, spicy notes (from the rye perhaps), malts. Sweet aftertaste, long. Medium body with low carbonation.

Bomber poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting brown head. Aromas of rye, fruitiness, pepper and caramel. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, caramel, pepper and fruitiness with a crisp dry lingering rye finish.
