Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with a brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a grassy note with a touch of lemon and backing notes of spice and light dark grains. Flavor starts with lemon and has some grass and spice with a backbone of light dark grains.

bottle, sampled after release. pours dark brown with soapy off white head. a spicy and phenolic aroma, lemony hop character. the taste is the issue with this beer as it is extremely over attenuated. I don’t recall having a beer that over attenuated this much (except perhaps lambic), there just isn’t any residual sweetness to carry the rest of the profile. just a watery stripped out feel to it. I know this yeast attenuates like it’s on roids but this is pretty unbelievable. it doesn’t taste bad though.

22 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown in color with a medium sized creamy beige head. The aroma has a hefty dose of black peppercorn, lemon citrus, earthy hops with some herbal notes. The flavor again has a bold pepper spice, lemony citrus, herbal notes, earth and grass. Decent enough.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. A huge tan head. Dark brown and opaque. Some lemon and different hops. Just not enough of anything. A fruity finish and a minty after taste. I’m not a big fan.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average fforhy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop, lemon citrus, and pepper aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy pepper bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer will not get a lot of love on page but really like this.

From the end of a 22oz bottle, shared by Alexsdad06. Hazy brown color. Good thin khaki head. Little lace. Good peppery spice nose. Hint of orange peel. Medium to bigger body. Nice soft lighter carbonation, lighter texture. Nice moderate bitterness, some spice, good zestiness. Hint of lemon. Some creme. I’m a fan.
