Bottle shared by beerpig317. Poured a hazy pale copper color with an averae frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate pepper, lemon and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. I shared this with friends.

Bottle, shared by beerpig317. Hazy golden-orange color. Good thin white head. Nice lace. Nice estery peppercorn flavor. Soft, smooth, bright carbonation. Medium - plus body. Very dry. Some rosewater in the aroma, definite floral, somewhat perfume, peppercorns, belgian yeast, some coriander, orange-peel. Solid, dry, peppery saison.

DC tasting thanks to noodleuser. Hazy tan yellow body. Sweet, but very true to style, belgo mouthfeel. Excellent, really well executed. Fruity and big yeast esters. Really mile with the peppercorn. Nice!

Sample from bottle at the FoBAB documentary party. Very nicely malty with a little bit of spice, although I totally missed the peppercorns. Instead, I thought the taste was very savory like a good Belgian beer. Touch of funk. A lot of yeast swirled up from the bottom.

Bottle. Strong pepper and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head - a couple chunks of pepper floating around. Strong pepper and light barley malt flavor. Medium body. Iím not particularly a pepper fan so not a beer I would want very often but really a decent beer - if you love pepper (spice), definitely one for you.

Bottle - Batch 40. Very lactic, light funky yeast, sweet fruity citrus aroma - pepper not really apparent in the nose. Cloudy straw color with a large white head. Peppercorn, funky yeasty malt, grassy, and sweet lactic flavor. Light to medium body, dry finish.

Shared by noodleuser. Thanks man! The beer is hazy and golden yellow with a soft white head. The aroma brings fruity esters, earthy tones, yeast, bread dough, light spice. The peppercorns emerge more as the beer is allowed to warm. Light sweetness with freshly cut grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A tasty beer and solid example of the style.

22oz bottle, thanks noodleuser. Medium off-white head, hazy light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, straw, some spicy/yeast, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some straw, light spicy, pear. Medium body, light acidity.

651mL thanks to noodleuser. Pours a full haze light peach. Thick white foam. Big lace. Estery and doughy nose with fresh lemon and mild saison rusticness. French saison yeast? Taste is much too sweet, boozy, white alcohol. A bit of a rough version of Saison DuPont. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thanks! Hazy yellow color, white head. Aroma of peppery straw, hay, grass. The black pepper comes into the taste late, but itís very obvious once it appears.
