Bottle, golden orange pour, thick white head. Some citrus, earth, and banana aroma. Fruity and earth taste, didnít really have the spice I expected. Solid brew, but not what I was expecting.

Bottle. Strong pepper and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head - a couple chunks of pepper floating around. Strong pepper and light barley malt flavor. Medium body. Iím not particularly a pepper fan so not a beer I would want very often but really a decent beer - if you love pepper (spice), definitely one for you.

Bottle, shared by beerpig317. Hazy golden-orange color. Good thin white head. Nice lace. Nice estery peppercorn flavor. Soft, smooth, bright carbonation. Medium - plus body. Very dry. Some rosewater in the aroma, definite floral, somewhat perfume, peppercorns, belgian yeast, some coriander, orange-peel. Solid, dry, peppery saison.

22 oz. bottle. It pours a cloudy light yellow/orange color with a massive white head. The aroma is wheat, orange, apricots and some pepper. Not as peppery as I was expecting. The flavor is on the sweet side with orange marmalade, dried apricot and lots of pepper. Wheat backbone with lots of effervescence. Nice but a bit cloying.

Bomber, pours a hazy medium gold with an immense white head and outstanding retention and lacing. Biscuit, banana, clove with peppercorn spiciness underneath. Iím not a huge fan of Saisons, but this one is decent, pairs nice with Thia Curry. Bravo, Pipeworks.

Has a neat, peppery mouthfeel and a cloudy, dark straw body. Cute head that stick around...a quarter of a finger or so. The nose has some tart, musty earth notes. Itís heavier on the earth than citrus, and the alcohol seems a bit strong for a saison. The spices keep it interesting enough, though.

Courtesy of markwise. It pours gold with thin white head. The aroma is sugar sweet then orange creamsicle, black licorice and ginger. Interesting mix. The taste begins with modest white pepper heat and then moves into a blend of mild saison like yeasty spice, apricot and a touch of citrus. This is certainly an interest mix of flavors and aromas. For me it works OK.

Sample from bottle at the FoBAB documentary party. Very nicely malty with a little bit of spice, although I totally missed the peppercorns. Instead, I thought the taste was very savory like a good Belgian beer. Touch of funk. A lot of yeast swirled up from the bottom.

pours apricot with half inch of white foamy head which clears out after the first sip. smell and taste of yeast, dough which leaves a pepper after note that stays on your tongue. Not spicy, but the pepper is prominent. surprisingly refreshing
