COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You hold in your hand our Quintessential American Wheat Ale. We think this is the perfect beer for the dog days of summer. Brimming with citrus, floral, and grassy hop notes, this wheat ale is sure to quench your thirst on a hot summer evening. While this may be a little bigger than a traditional wheat, we think it is the Quintessential American Wheat Ale.

Golden colored beer with a light haze and a white head. There’s some floral hops, a bit of grass, and fruity esters. Sweet bread, some wheat, and a touch of biscuit. Sweet bread and wheat flavors with a floral and grassy hop profile. Some light bitterness and fruit esters.

Bomber from Rogers Park Liquors, drank during the Oscars! Clear golden pour with a froth of white foam. Aroma is light bitter hops, honey-like sweetness, and a clean malt backbone. Taste is clean hop bitterness, honey sweetness, and wheat. Clean mouthfeel. Drinks more like an american pale ale than a wheat beer but it’s plenty tasty.

Bottle shared by a friend. This brew pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium fluffy white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with a citrusy wheat character and flavors of grassy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a short banana aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

From notes. Pours hazy amber with big notes of hops and citrus. These notes continue with the bitterness that seems over drawn. Finishing notes show limited complexity.

Bottle shared the other day. Bomber served in a FW tulip. A: Pours an apricot color with a thick white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a heavy ring that leaves some splotchy lace down the glass. S: Sweet fruit and grass. Tropical fruit notes with some slightly tart peach yogurt. Great cracked wheat as well. T: Sweet fruity berries and tropical melon. Peach notes with grassy undertone and light wheat body. M: Light to medium bodied with a semi sweet wheat finish with a nice lively carbonation. Easily drinkable. O: The nose on this guy was huge and it was really great. Great hop bite and easily drinkable, even at 7.50%. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 08-21-2012

Is this a Wheat-PA? Very hop forward to begin but then it just drops off in a flat nature. It looks hazy and smells of hay and bitter citrus hops. Overall unbalanced and confused

Bottle at Dan’s courtesy of Armin. Thanks man!!! Pour is clear copper with a small white head and great lacing. Floral hops, soap, stale bread, big butter, wheat, and diacetyl in the aroma. Taste is caramel popcorn, butter, citrus, and spice. Light body with high carbonation. WTF man this is not a wheat at all. I really just don’t get this beer. Bleh.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark orange red pour with white head, aroma has notes of wet grain, cardboard, some dark fruit, hints of sweet dms, veggie, hints of butter as well, not very good. Taste is a mix of diacetyl, citrus, some hints of caramel, toffee, hints of slight spice, touch of earth. This is not very good.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks! Pours a dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Creamy, old orange, cardboard, a bit toasty, light buttery aroma. Caramel, thick popcorn butter, citrusy, rich butterscotch, diacetyl flavor. Not good.
