Bottle sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Loads of raspberry and chocolate. My god, I could drink this everyday. Another homerun from Pipeworks.

A big thanks to dcschiller for sharing this. Dark brown pour, fudgey brown head. Flavor is exactly damn what it says on the bottle! Raspberry truffles! Sweet berries intertwined with fudgey notes, vanilla...awesome!!

Aroma tart but ripe raspberry with underlying chocolate. Taste Heavy semi sweet Dark chocolate upfront with creamy mouthfeel unveiling raspberry tart crisp finish. Keeping going back to raspberry truffle cream during experience. Best damn job of achieving vision and meeting expectations!

Love the other two versions i’ve tried and this one doesn’t dissapoint. Dark pour with a tan head, little bit of raspberry in the head color. Smells awesome, alot of chocolate at first, with a little raspberry on the end. As the beer warms up I get more fruit, but the chocolate is outstanding. Taste is pretty much as advertised, tastes very similar to a raspberry truffle. Pretty good balance on the chocolate and raspberry, wish it had a bit more raspberry in the flavor. A little botter, but it works with the idea of a dark chocolate. Solid beer.

Dark brown pour with a dark tan head. Lots of sweet raspberries and chocolate. Once you taste this beer....you know how they came up with the name.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2013 DLD tick. Thick, boozy version of the beer with a great raspberry flavor, I don’t get the mediinal qualities. 2nd bottle batch 94 - Dark brown pour with a carmael head. Cocoa smell, some raspberry, rich flavor with coffee, dark cocoa, and a tart raspberry finish. Motor oil like consistency. Score upped.

Dark chocolate and raspberry nose. Slight dark pink hue mixed with dark brown. Light tan head that was mostly diminishing. Good lacing. Taste is dark chocolate raspberry. Lively carbonation but slightly watery mouth feel. Fruit lingers in the finish. All in all a pleasure to try. Wouldn’t want more than the couple ounces though.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours black with a tiny, quickly dissipating head. It doesn’t even stick around long enough to figure out its color. The aromatics are of fudge, brownies, chocolate crème and vanilla. Full-bodied with a super silky mouthfeel and faint carbonation. The flavor is a blend of bittersweet chocolate with only a rumor of raspberry. Finishes chocolaty and quite warming. Great beer… BBB63 shipped the love my way!

750 ml bottle poured a clear dark brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of raspberry, cocoa, light vanilla and light roastiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of raspberry, cocoa, roastiness and light vanilla with a smooth dry lingering cocoa/raspberry finish.
