3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Caramel and toffee in the aroma, pours a brilliant candy apple red with a orange head that dissipates almost instantly. Super clean front palette caramel, bread with a nice balancing bitterness touches of citrus and pine and a bit of alcohol really late in the finish

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - Pours hazy brown with a ruby red tint. Nose is plasticy, oddly fruity, some rye spice, with herbal, piney hops. Taste is dry, spicy malt with grassy herbal pine hops, with some citrus peel on the finish. Real malty and a little too sharp. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not my favorite Pipeworks beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I am not sure who shared this at Kyleís tasting but thanks to whomever it was. Lots of hops giving a citrus aroma and flavor, with malt taking a back sweat. Alcohol in the flavor and on the palate, similar to a double IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2013-11-15. Crisp red brown body with a nice tan head. 3+ Aroma is a pleasant hoppy malt melange. Light hop greenery. Mild fruit notes. 7+ Flavour is fairly bitter, lightly fruity over a malty core, lingering bitterness. 7++ Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Rather nice. Dangerously drinkable, it finds a delightful balance that is hard to achieve in this kind of big beer. Bottle shared by Ferris

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared with family at Thanksgiving. Deep brown color with a moderate loose tan head on top. Scattered spots of lacing stick to the glass. The aroma shows pine, brown sugar, caramel, and some orange rind. Big chewy malt flavors: sweet caramel, citrus rind, plenty of aggressive resinous hop bitterness, and light toast. This is pretty solid but it was definitely a beer Iím glad I shared. The heavy body is a chore after a bit.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 22oz bomber, pours a dark amber, almost reddish brown like, light off white head and a little bit of lacing in the glass, aroma isnít as hop forward as I was expecting it to be with some of their other stuff and the description, but still comes across nicely with some of the rye spice coming through as well, the flavor has a good amount sweetness with mostly being caramel and malt, a little bit of chocolate as well in the finish, interesting.
