Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Dark blackish pour. Lightly roasty, grainy, maybe some nut character. Sweet, caramel. No real nutty or toasty character.

Shared with Zach on a hot miserable steamy humid Friday afternoon on the patio with a Cuban, pours a dark black pour with a java colored head. Nose is malty, with coffee and some sweetness. Taste is malty with cacao, mocha and roasted nuts, and is smooth and velvety. Finishes on the same tasting notes and just bathes the palate with smoothness and ease. Is there a flawless beer ? Thanks Archer, and thank you Pipeworks, amazing what one can miss without Pipeworks. Quaff Score 10 / 10

Bomber. Pours black with a brown head and sweet aroma of cocoa, vanilla, and coconut. Taste is delicious, tons of complex flavor, cocoa, vanilla, dark fruits, coconut that really comes throb in the finish, and coffee while creamy with almond milk flavor and a sweet, vanilla cocoa finish. Great brew

Pours black with a tan head. Subtle sweet aroma. Sweet coffee taste with coconut undertones. Bitter coffee bite in the after taste. Really like this beer, but at 10.5%, something to be savored.

Pours black with low frothy tan head. Aroma of chocolate malts, vanilla, muscovado, toffee. Loads of milk chocolate as well. Taste is sweet, vanilla, port barrel, milk chocolate. Slight off-flavors in the finish. Body is medium full, creamy with smooth carbonation.

Poured from 22oz bottle at home. Aroma of cocoa, nuts, malts and vanilla. The taste matches the aroma for the most part. Sweet and chocolate milky. Very sweet and tasty. Like a milkshake. Milky nuts. Yummy.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, some coconut, light vanilla and almond notes, and hints of dark fruits. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer, but I was expecting better.

Bottle thanks to Rob. Pours a dark amber with no head. The aroma is spice and vanilla. Thin mouthfeel with nice spice, toffee and vanillla. Good.

Bottle: Black, black body with a fleeting, off-mocha head that wafts away on top. Aroma of moderate roast & toasted nuts, woodsy with some dark fruit in the back-end & a mild, sweet cream undertone. Coconut is definitely present, but tame. This beer actually smells "partially" barrel aged, likely due to the coconut. I swear I can smell tannin. A little boozy. Tastes like itís touched a barrel, too. Gotta be the coconut. Light must, huge dark fudge presence, lots of roast with notes of nuts & wood. A spicy, peppery finish. Heavily roasted, nearly charred & ashy. Quite boozy, too, with a heated alcoholic finish. I didnít dislike this quite as much as the fellas I drank it with but it did not live up to my expectations based on the description (& other ratings). I expected greatness, it was merely good at best.

>> Thanks Jack for the share! Inky pour, nice rockier foam. Nose is super rich coffee mousse, marzipan, amaretto, chocolate frosting, bourbon. Taste is buttery mousse, German chocolate cake, vanilla, marzipan. Like eating a Ferrero Roche chocolate. Loved.

A: Pours with a thick texture. Comes out the bottle black and sits in the glass as so. Light dark brown head on just the edges of the glass. Very light active carbonation in the glass while drinking. S: Upfront you get some of the coconut and almonds then you get some chocolate and roasted coffee. Very sweet aroma. T: At first I get the vanilla character then fades into some of the coconut and almond. It is then followed by some chocolate. Pretty sweet on the tongue. Enjoyable tasting beer. M: Really sweet, thick body. A little oily, but thatís perfectly okay with me. O: Do really enjoy this one, wish I drank a little sooner to get more of the coconut.
