One of the most pungent aromas I’ve ever smelled upon cracking open a bottle-- you would have though it was a 22oz container of candied peaches and melons, packaged in hibiscus tea, it’s that tropical and fruity smelling. But then you pour what looks like a pretty "normal" beer-- light, lagery color, mostly clear. And then the taste resembles neither the appearance or the smell-- sharp earthy, gritty, bitterness with a relatively light mouth feel. It doesn’t feel as thick or syrupy as Ninja v Unicorn or Blood of the Unicorn. A really interesting IIPA. I wish they’d balanced out the bitterness with a bit more of the sweet, but it’s really hard to complain about, for any true hop lover-- especially as long as you keep breathing in deeply as you drink (the smells really interact with the flavors heavily in this one).

With Z, pours an orange , rusty color with a beige head. Nose is deep citrus with heavy passion fruit ,bitter sweet as well ! Taste is bittersweet with more pine and resin in the taste with lighter citrus , finish is bitter sweet as well and ends on the same tasting notes, a dry and moderately long ending . QUaff Score 8 / 10

Bomber. Pours orange with a white head and nice citrus and pine aroma. Taste is bitter, lots of citrus, pine, hops, resin, and grass notes leading to a dry, bitter finish. Very good DIPA

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, London. It pours a golden color with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of citrus peel, pine cones, caramel. Taste is medium sweet and medium grassy and hoppy, with notes of caramel, biscuit, dried leaves, citrus peel and piny hops. Quite bitter dry finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nice

Golden color, white head. Big bold hoppy beer with a nice wheat/malt backbone. Some light dough notes are present, but the citrusy and grassy hops steal the show. Nice brew.

From bomber, pours a hazy amber yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrus floral. Taste is lots of grapefruit rind and citrus, with a strong hoppy bitterness. There’s some fruit in there too, but the bitterness predominates. Finish is bitter. It’s good, but the bitterness is more than my preference.

Had it out of a Bomber (it’s basically the only way to get a Pipeworks brew).Light hop aroma, murky orange hue, light white head (how I likes it), and a Bruce Lee hopped up roundhouse kick to the tastebuds.

Tasted from a bomber. It poured a murky golden orang hue with a short white head that leaves streaky white lacing. Bright citrus hop aroma with hints of grapefruit and other fruity goodness. Pipworks are the guardians of all kinds of hoppy goodness!

2014-08-15. Hazy dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma of citrusy hops, lemony notes. Flavour is nice, similar hoppy lemon citrus. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Quite nice, crisp bright hop character. Bottle at Campground Brewdown
