The Well Read Temptress is the second of our sour and seductive ladies. This ravishing raspberry Berliner style weisse knows how to read between the lines with her cheeky tartness and crisp finish. Aged on fresh raspberries from our friends at Seedling Farms, this beer is sure to educate the palate. Just don’t be late for this, the Red Temptress doesn’t like when you’re overdue. Bottling Dates:

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2013 Bottle: peachy, lightly link tinted, hazy and nearly opaque body, head in gone in moments. Aroma has a wheat body with tons of fresh raspberry; tart and lightly acidic. Taste is raspberry, light acidic tartness, mellow fruit sweetness, a small bit of wheat and just a little lemon-like sourness in the finish. Very good stuff; dry finish.

750 ml bottle courtesy of St Fun. Thanks. Batch 39. Pours a dirty pink color with a big fizzy light pink head that quickly fizzes away to nothing. The aroma is big and bold with fresh ripe raspberries. The taste is something to behold with complex raspberries that are both both ripe and tart, some banana, citrus(lemons&limes) and a touch of biscuit. The palate is thin but appropriate for the style and the carbonation is prickly. Finishes medium in duration and dry with lingering sour berries. Overall: Better than expected--and I totally love the name of this beer.

Bottle:   Pours a pinkish hue, a little dirty, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Musty nose, barnish, fruity in the sense of unripened berries.   Slight cheesiness.   Bright unripened berry up front, very tart and dry.   Hard to say its Raspberry, but it certainly has a young berry quality to it.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Bubbley finish, tart, dry, but by this time the berry aspect is a bit more minor.   Enjoyable, good amount of dryness and being fairly tart is a bonus.   Wished the Raspberry was more pronounced tho.  As is, fairly enjoyable.   Thanks Kevin!

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Beer looks just like pink lemonade with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat with some lacto notes and raspberries. The flavor is similar with some raspberry, wheat and a slight bit of tartness. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
