The Well Read Temptress is the second of our sour and seductive ladies. This ravishing raspberry Berliner style weisse knows how to read between the lines with her cheeky tartness and crisp finish. Aged on fresh raspberries from our friends at Seedling Farms, this beer is sure to educate the palate. Just don’t be late for this, the Red Temptress doesn’t like when you’re overdue. Bottling Dates:

Middling as fruited berliners go, which still is pretty damn tasty. Not puckeringly sour, but the raspberry doesnt come through as much as I’d like. Weird that the ABV is so high.

Bottle during RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a clear pink with small pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is fresh raspberry and malt. Thin mouth, tart berry, wheat, light sour finish, good.

Bottle @ Steve’s house. Thanks to Adam for sending. Raspberry, slight butter, slight corny, juicy, stomach acid nose. Kind of boring aroma. Twangy dull raspberry soda flavor. A touch of bile. High acidity. Not that great.

Batch 83 - My favorite of the Pipeworks Berliners so far (still have the non-infected blueberry one to try though). Light pink pour with a white head. Soft tart raspberry nose. Taste is nice and sour, dry and a nice raspberry finish. Quite nice.

Pours quite cloudy, murky pink with no head. The aroma brings some methane and raspberries. Flavor brings big tart and some raspberries, but they have faded over the last year. There is big tart grapefruit as well going on.

Enjoyed by the pool. Pours a clear, light reddish pink color with big white head. Aroma of raspberries, wheat, citrus, citric acid. Flavor is very refreshing. Raspberries present but don’t overpower the base Berliner. Wheat flavor comes trough. Tart. Overall pretty nice.
