11.2oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours cloudy copper with a cream-colored, lacy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, light fruit, caramel, floral hops, and a hint of alcohol. From the flavor, one would not know this is a 10.5% beer. The malt and hops cover it well. Smooth texture. A really good Belgian beer.

Hazy copper with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of banana, dried fruits, and a hint of spice. Rich, creamy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Gold color with frothy head. Smells of bread, banana and honey. taste is the same with booze present. Very sweet and nice drinking slowly. Quite enjoyable

Der säuerliche Geruch macht sich auch beim Geschmack bemerkbar, aber auch limonig-fruchtig und sehr würzig kommt das Bier daher, bei dem man die 10,5 nicht erschmeckt. Gut! Test vom 15.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,10,10,8,9,10 - 9,95

Clear amber to gold coloured beer, creamy white head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: very malty, caramel, bit of banana, honey, some candi sugar. MF: lots of carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malts, fruity, banana, a little bitter. Aftertaste: some citrus, fruity and malts still, a nice dry finish. I didn’t remember this was such a good beer.

Beautiful pour, light amber with a full white head that hangs around, bitter spicy malts, bitter hops and alcoholic fumes, but that cloying Belgian yeasty taste ruins it for me... but I am a Lagerboy after all!

golden, hazy, white foam, very bitter, medium sourness, full body. Very characteristic taste, recommended.

Almost candylike in it’s sweetness but with a nice spicy finish. Aroma and appearance aren’t that great. Interesting beer that I got as a birthday present.
