COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

Excellent Belgium strong ale. Citrus aroma, sweet fruit tasting, easy to drink because the alcohol is well hidden. fruity and alcoholic. Taste is spices, orange peels, some mild sweet malt and hops and bitterness.

Clear, pale, golden amber with a small white head. Good lacing. Aroma of nuts, toast, spice, banana and caramel. The taste is malty and fruity sweet with spices, a citrus-like tartness, a potent bubblegum yeast flavor, and considerable hop bitterness. The alcohol is definitely there as well, I can really feel it on my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Medium-full bodied with moderate effervescent carbonation. Pretty good. The weirdest thing about this is that it tastes almost nothing like the way it smells.

Sweet Belgian spice smell. Cloudy light amber color. Great taste with hints of coriander, spice, and citrus. The beer goes fairly smooth and the alcohol taste is well muted.

This is a very nice Belgian Strong. It pours a nice amber color and presents a nice balance of malt sweetness -- with nice banana-orange notes -- and alcohol and spice notes.

An orange haze with bubbly white head sits, awaiting my plunder. Piraat smells like a yeasty brothel of spicy pineapples and citrus. The body is very dry, accentuating the pepper, while flavors of sweet orange, bready caramel and grapefruit fill the palate. The finish is crisp with a hint of coriander and fading hints of malt and alcohol. This just keeps getting better as it warms up! A fantastic Belgian brew that can board my ship and plunder my booty anytime.

(draught at T&P Tavern) cloudy medium gold, big fluffy cream colored head. Nose of Belgian yeast, juicy pineapple, spices and golden raisins. Taste of big alcohol, crisp grain, golden alcohol-soaked raisins, mildly biting, and a hot linger. Nice Belgian but it was also served ice cold.
