Bottle aged in my cellar, 1 year. Pours a Dark clear golden with nice white frothy head. Produced spotty, spiderweb lace. Above average carbonation. Aromas are sweet breads and tropical fruits and bubblegum. Body is medium for the abv level, Flavors are real simple. Sweet bread, very light spices, fruit and a light hop to help balance the sweetness. I don’t even taste the 10.5 ABV. A very nice brew. Let this one sit a bit before you enjoy, you shouldn’t be disappointed. I wasn’t.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 2, 2011
Bottle from Asao. Rich malty aroma, cereals, fruits, plum and citrus. Not particularly fragrant or complex, but nice enough. Deep dark golden color with a high rocky head. Rich and fruity, with some spice, lots of heat, a bit of a sour tang, dried and fresh plum, tropical fruits, grapefruit, grass, honey. Not wildly flavorful, but quite elegant. Rich and full. A bit too boozy, but very nice, not too sweet, tasty. Nice balance. Delicious.

Amber coloured, very malty and with a heavy noticeable alcohol content, reminds me very much of Duvel
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martinus (663) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2011
Reddish golden copper colour. Slightly hazy. White head.
Aroma of malts, fruity hops, fruit, pear. Bread, yeasty. Quite alcoholic.
Flavour is sweet, fruity, malty, caramel. Quite a decent whallop of hops. Rather strong on alcohol but still pretty easy to drink. Lingering hop bitterness with alcohol warmth and a sweet caramel edge.

nice spice notes on the nose. Pours golden with a slight head. Deceptively strong. Has nice spice notes on the tongue and finishes fairly clean.
4.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 pottygok (221) - Ohio, USA - APR 15, 2011
Aroma: Hints of banana and bubblegum, with a spiciness--clove, maybe?
Appearance: Bright gold with a hint of cloudiness (could be the effervescence) with a thick, white head.
Taste: Light-Medium sweetness immediately countered by a medium-heavy bitterness balanced again by a light bitterness fading back to the sweetness at the end. This is an impressively complex and spice heavy roller coaster of taste.
Palate: Full bodied, slick texture with a lively carbonation, and a looong finish.
Overall: This is a brilliant beer, really complex and well developed. I find it a bit too sour in the finish, but overall this is solid as hell.
