COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

Pours lightly cloud, deep gold with foam that disappears almost immediately. Smells of alcohol, grapefruit, pine . Tastes very hoppy with a little bit of sweetness and citrus.

33cl bottle. Pours a hazy amber capped by a large white foamy head that has great lace and retention. Faint malty sweetness in the aroma with some grass, pepper and mild funkiness. Taste kicks in with big sweet malts along with honey and dark candied fruits. Alcohol comes thruogh to warm things up in the middle with spices and a lite pepperiness. Has an herbal finish with light lingering alcohol. Medium body with very fine champagne like carbonation.

Great Beer. I grabbed one of these after a midterm in college and pounded it not knowing it was 10.5% ABV, I woke up several hours later on my roommates futon. Later I bought another bottle and drank it proper to fully enjoy the beer. Deep golden in color with a plethora of both hops and malt flavors that are very well balanced. Sweet doughy goodness.

Huge fan of piraat, the palate runs wild with fruits flavors, light on sweet flavors let the yeasts flavors really shine, highly recommended
