| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 4, 2009 A bad ass beer. Draft at so many places but the most recent was South Park Tavern in Dayton, OH. The pour is clear, very light amber with a nose of fruit and yeast. The flavor is strong, hot, fruity with some yeast. The classic Belgian beer with a lot of power. Sweet, fruity, and big, this Belgian is a damn good beer. mabel (2590), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hazy, medium orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Initial multigrain bread yeast flavour followed by an alcoholic licorice jolt. Medium body is boooozy. Initially quite good then BAM the alcohol hits like a licorice train; overall good to try.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Love the head; the color a light maple hue. Nose is racy and herbaceous but not off-putting. Apples and and a hint of warm Indonesian spices are prevalent. Mothfeel and weight are well balanced. Fruity esters are counterbalanced expertly by pleasant, profound (but not overwhelming) hops. Honey tones and spicy after"bite" are well received! necrocephalus (1), reggio emilia, Italy does not count | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 28, 2009 330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden. Small long lasting foamy head, nice lacings. Lingering carbonation. A bit of metallic. Nice and balanced malt and hops. Fruity. Too many alchools and bad acidity (too much "sucker"? :)). Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA

Appearance: Very deep gold color with a foamy, white head. Decent head retention.
Aroma: Light nose with notes of fruit, yeast, and dust. A slight hint of peach and banana.
Flavor: Sweet and fruity on the tongue. Peach, lemon, banana, a touch of bubble gum, and candy sugar.
Palate: Medium, smooth carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a medium-short, sweet finish.
Overall: It does a good job of hiding it’s alcohol but at the expense of a lot of fruitiness. It certainly isn’t the worst Belgian, but it is a bit on the simple side. vtafro (469), , New Jersey, USA

Orange golden pour with some white head. Spicy hold and malt aroma with some floral and sweet notes. Flavor matches, but alcohol is noticeable but not overpowering, yeasts and sweet malts dominate.
