COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Piraat is a wickedly rich and rounded brew that packs a mighty punch. The powerful glow builds up from inside. Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

Stub bottle. Super boozy! Gorgeous deep orange colour. Not really feeling the aftertaste and the initial response was that it was too overpowering. But it improved considerably with temperature and time. Definitely got the bread dough. Not a huge fan.

Bottle, pours a light amber with a white head, tastes sweet with fruits and yeast and a little hoppy bitterness. Not bad

Buena cerveza, aroma frutal color ambar un poco dorado, dulce al principio un toque amargo al final, se siente el lupulo y la malta bastante.

330ml bottle somewhere in time. From old notes.
In short: a good boozy belgian ale.
Pours hazy dark gold. Frothy white head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Citrusy, caramel, spicy, malty aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is malty, yeasty, some citrusy, spicy. Dry finish. Alcohol noticed.

Lovely big fruity aroma, lots of yeast on the nose, cloudy orange in the glass, with thin foamy head. Lots of flavour, big and rounded, little sweet with the alcohol present late on. Some spices, fruit (orange, citrus, resin). Liking this one!

Pours cloudy orange large white head. Aroma is very yeasty with a hint of lemony citrus. Palate is sugary sticky. Flavor is sweet, bitter and boozey. Dank and acidic. Unmistakably Belgian. Finish is both bitter and sticky sweet.

Good beer, pours a darker golden yellow with a large white head, it smells of fruits and spices. Taste is intricate, loads of spices with some exotic fruit, some malts in the background that are not overly sweet. Alcohol is not overly present, did not expect this to be 10.5%

Poured dark gold/orange from a bomber bottle. Very thick head white head, so pour slowly! Smells of yeasty-belgian goodness! Caramel, citrus, and bread aroma. Very similar to a Chimay Rouge. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
